8/10 Very good

the property is a hoot. staff all very friendly and paid attention to detail. The cakes and pastries are a sight to behold and smell in the morning. The views from the pool are amazing. Some aspects seem old and could use some sprucing up (faded paint, carpets in our room smelled musty) but overall definitely worth a stop if you prefer a unique experience instead of a chain hotel. We've never seen anything quite like it.

So OVERWHELMED by entering the room! We stayed in the Dez. Pictures didn’t do it justice! This was best friend birthday and we loved our meal at the steak house. The pink champagne cake is a must. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice for the celebration. We would come back again over and over!

We had the most wonderful time at the Madonna Inn! If you love kitsch, they get every single detail right - including painted popcorn ceilings, branded ice buckets, and hefty water goblets. We stayed in the Barrel of Fun - the room was huge and even better in person, everything was clean and comfortable and the rock shower was to die for. The staff were all lovely and helpful, the cafe and steakhouse were beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and the pool was so relaxing. Can't recommend a stay here enough. We're going to make it an annual trip.

It was fun to stay at this truly unique hotel. The pool area is really nice and open late. We had breakfast in the cafe which was excellent. We stayed in the golfers' room which was clean and comfortable, except for the pillows. Just to note there are not blackout curtains. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Very unique place!! Great pool area, bar/lounge and bakery. Loved the “secret garden” too.

The hotel is lovely just like the staff just keep in mind it is an old hotel. I felt like the room could have used a refurbishment especially for the price. It's a fun place to stay though!
