Enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was large with two queen size beds. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. It was a little off the beaten path but we managed the public transportation system and spent our days exploring Vienna. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Florum Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a single room with a balcony that had a stunning view of the city. The bed was very comfortableand the reception is open all the time. Pretty good.
The corridors were a bit glum, and the room didn't have a "do not disturb" sign, but it was clean, provided a tea set, a TV with access to Netflix and Amazon, a desk to do my work, and the bathroom was clean and tidy with fresh towels every day. The location is great. We thought we were just booking a cheap hotel to stay a few days, and we were pleasantly surprised. Value for money.

Wonderful Hotel
I highly recommend this hotel. The city center is just a 7-minute walk away, and there are many nice restaurants and bars nearby. I especially loved the small market with bars and restaurants where the local Viennese go, which is only 2-3 minutes from the hotel. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bed was fantastic. The reception is open 24/7, so you can check in even late at night. The staff was also very friendly.open therefore you can check in very late in the night and the staff was very friendly.

A lovely hotel just missing the finer details
At first sight the hotel is lovely until we looked more into it. We definitely didn’t have a ‘city view’ room, from where the hotel is, nobody would have one. Our room had been redecorated but the bathroom had not expect the sink. We had no bin in our room, no cot as requested, an empty bottle of alcohol left in the room, no hairdryer, two single duvets on a double bed and only one room key. These are only picky things and if you didn’t look for them you wouldn’t notice. The entrance of the hotel has been done out really nicely, the area with the lift still looks extremely worn so hadn’t been touched in the refurb. Couldn’t fault the staff as they were lovely.

Bad Value for Money
The location is outside downtown but not that far just 1 underground station, the closest underground station is 2 blocks distance from hotel. The hotel is not well maintained, is very expensive for what it is. The towels were taken from the room and didn’t put more, shower gel was empty and not refilled, same as toilet paper. We have to go down to ask for it. The receptionist was kind but feels that she was running the place alone. Definitely you can get something better for this price.

Disappointed
Where to start? The bathroom floor was dirty, the room had very little store space and four hangers were all that were provided. There was no drawer storage. The second day of our stay, we left at 8:30 am, and the room was not serviced by our return at 6:30 pm. A cleaning person arrived only at 7:30 pm, while we were resting. The desk personnel were either overwhelmed with guests or away from the desk dealing with problems. The one lift was slow. When we asked for a hairdryer, we were given one that did not fit any of the power outlets in the room. When asked, the front desk had no adapters because “they keep getting stolen.” I do not understand how this could be classified as a four star hotel. We were extremely disappointed.

The staff was rude and unreasonable, the hotel is terrible, the rooms are flithy, barely any breakfast options. The Hotel is a Scam, no two ways about it.
Not a good experience at all. Quite sure the Hotels.com reviews are manipulated, 4 star hotel with 8.4/10 is very very far from reality. The hallways and elevators are very dirty, and it does not help that there is a sheet of paper next to the elevators describing how to rescue guests from them when they stop working, with different instructions for the two different elevators. My room was ice-cold, AC/heat pump doesn’t work. The blinds were bent and broken, half of the window was TAPED over with wallpaper. Very clear that they want to keep costs to an absolute minimum. No soap next to the sink, one roll of toiletpaper, one pillow, no towel to dry your hands. No television connection so you’re only able to use a few of the LG tv’s apps, but most of the buttons on the remote don’t work. No Do not Disturb card, Housekeeping knocked 17:00 one day and 9:30 the next. They didn’t change any sheets or towels, didn’t clean anywhere. Very thin walls, can hear everything happening in the hotel and the neighboring buildings. Spend an extra 20€ per night and get yourself a different hotel in Vienna that is not a facade and a scam.
