Overall, we found this hotel to be good value for money, especially for London. The location was excellent for our trip, as we were attending an event in Hyde Park, which was only around a 10-minute walk away. The staff were all really friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which made a positive difference.
There were a few downsides, however. Our room was on the top floor and there was no lift, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be difficult for guests with limited mobility or heavy luggage. The hotel is also looking a little tired and could benefit from some refurbishment, as parts of it felt quite old and worn. The shower lacked pressure, and the toilet continuously ran water, which was a little annoying.
The bed was also much softer than we would have liked. Any movement from either of us made it feel like we were on a boat, which unfortunately meant neither of us had a particularly good night’s sleep.
Despite these issues, the excellent location, friendly staff, and reasonable price make it a decent option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in London.
