Amazing little find in central London from everywhere you would ever want too be beautiful trees on entrance old building with original features stunning old railings carpet rods check in team where fantastic too the night porter who was smiley and friendly Shower was lush and Hot bedding soft and pillows a dream room was opulence and lovely

This hotel is very out dated rooms full of flies and dust pillows and mattress was disgustingly dirty don’t know why there no protector’s on them 2 of us in the room 2 cups one glass 1 large towel and 1 small hand towel loads of tea bags and coffee no milk so couldn’t make a drink but the location was fantastic

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to marleybone station and it was approx 10 min walk to a tube station. We were able to check in slightly early and the area around the hotel was safe. The shower was good and the bed was comfy. The staff were alao friendly.

Very nice. Just what we wanted. Caring and friendly receptionists that made sure we had everything we needed and always checked in how we were when we got back in the night. Also super close to Baker Street that brings you directly in to the city center, and to madame Tussauds and The Sherlock Holmes Museum.

The hotel is very small, nothing to write home about except for the service. The staff was wonderful. They treated us so beautifully with great respect and because my partner had a bad hip, they moved us from the top floor to an upgraded room on the second floor. They were extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. If you’re expecting something fantastic this is not your spot if you just want a very reasonable boutique hotel in a superb area. This is your spot if you’re fussy don’t go here if you just wanna come home relax put your feet up and go to sleep. It’s perfect. Nothing above and beyond, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay no judgement thank you again to the beautiful staff.

Overall, we found this hotel to be good value for money, especially for London. The location was excellent for our trip, as we were attending an event in Hyde Park, which was only around a 10-minute walk away. The staff were all really friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which made a positive difference. There were a few downsides, however. Our room was on the top floor and there was no lift, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be difficult for guests with limited mobility or heavy luggage. The hotel is also looking a little tired and could benefit from some refurbishment, as parts of it felt quite old and worn. The shower lacked pressure, and the toilet continuously ran water, which was a little annoying. The bed was also much softer than we would have liked. Any movement from either of us made it feel like we were on a boat, which unfortunately meant neither of us had a particularly good night’s sleep. Despite these issues, the excellent location, friendly staff, and reasonable price make it a decent option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in London.

Stayed here for one night last week, the staff were lovely even though they thought my wife was my identical twin… 😂 The room itself was adequate. Boiling hot, no AC and the radiators were constantly on all over the hotel. The curtains in the room were/are falling off. The fridge in the room was yellow from grime, you can tell that the fridge itself never gets cleaned. The table in the room falls apart, the top lifts off it so it wasn’t safe to put anything on it. Bathroom mirror has a crack in it. The shower itself was full of limescale and unclean- the shower head itself was full of limescale but the water pressure was good 😂 There was no tea/coffee/sugar/milk in the room and when it was requested they told us there was no milk left. On the positive side, it’s fairly close to all public transport, and looks nice on the outside. TLDR: it’s naff for the price but close to public transport.

The hotel may be a bit older, but that only adds to its unique charm and warmth. The location is truly excellent everything is close by and easily accessible, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What stood out the most was the staff, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We felt genuinely taken care of from the moment we arrived. I didnt see any problem about the people who work in the reception esp at night, seems not safe, but i git safe actually. About cleanliness, they to improve it, the room that i got were not so presentable, i did booked the cheapest one, but doesnt to be so dirty becoz of the price. The walls, the doorknobs, i dont actually feel stepping on the floor, but i dont have a choice. Hope they improve it. Good thing its near the center, easy access actually.
