Loved staying here, it was a different experience to staying at a hotel, it was cosy and comfortable. Had a lovely patio area outside where we sat every morning with a cuppa tea, at night we enjoyed sitting under stars while watching films on our laptop. It was dog friendly and our cocker spaniel absolutely loved the stay, lots of beautiful walks around the site, people to meet and it’s less than 20 mins to Skegness for the beach. The hosts was so friendly and made us feel at home, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in barn owl pod. It was lovely and peaceful

A lovely little find
Great hosts. The pod beds are comfortable, but for those who are tall the wooden end may be a problem.
Plentiful coffee/tea/milk, and a top up offered. The deck is really good to sit on, sun most of the day, and our dog was able to be off the lead on the deck and snooze with us. The pond is lovely for a short walk around. Beautifully kept planting, not parks-and-gardens, very natural and relaxing. Bathrooms immaculate, but no separate toilet. The washing up area is well stocked with cloths, washing up liquid, etc.
The fish were queueing up to jump on the hook. I mean this literally! I started taking photos of the catches, then frankly there were too many.
The traffic is a bit noisy on a wet day but didn't bother us.

Wouldn’t book again.
Bought this as a mini break for my son and gf.
They’ve informed me the place was not clean. Cobwebs with dead bugs inside. Bugs were crawling over my sons gf in the night.
Walking around barefoot was not possible as the floor was dirty.
The mattress wasn’t the right size for the frame so whenever the pillow was in place it would fall between mattress and bed frame.
Overall it wasn’t a pleasurable break

Lovely little site
We had a wonderful stay in Swallow camping pod. Right by the lake, it was clean and comfortable, though very hot & stuffy inside when we arrived. We left the door & window open and it did cool down.
It would be wonderful if there was an additional toilet (even if it was unisex) as there is just one bathroom for men & one for women but they contain the toilet & the shower. So if you wake up & need the loo but someone has just gone in to use the shower you have a long, uncomfortable wait!!
The lake is lovely, and you get biscuits & water left in the pod, and a mini fridge.
Finding it was easy, and although the photos don’t all show a table & chairs on the terrace, every pod had its own.
The owners are friendly and chatty.
We really had a lovely stay and will definitely re-book next time we’re heading that way.

Green Haven a Hidden Gem
We arrived Fri evening a bit later than planned because of work and travel. We were greeted by Keely she showed us to our little Glamping pod were we were staying for the 2 nights. The pod is lovley done in pine inside with a double bed , a kettle and a small fridge with aworktop that goes the full length of the pod .We had complementary coffe , sugar and milk and a sachet of Hot chicolate and a cpl of packs of biscuits too . Fortunatley we didn't need the hot chocolate as the weather was gorgeous 😀☀️☀️🌡. Outside the pod is Decking which is fenced off if you have fury friends with you as we did which stops them wondering off. The view is of the large fishing pond which we were told is well stocked, unfortunatley we are not fishers but did see a few there on the Saturday and they had caught quite a few. The toilet block is a short walk across the graveld area the shower was £1 for 5 mins which was ample time for a freshen up and the water was nice a hot too. There are BBQ's for each Pod you can use. There is also a small camping side with EHU for Caravans and Motorhomes .This is an Adult only sight and it is so quiet and peacfull the perfect break to recharge your batteries. I would highly recommended Green Haven Glen and Keely are a lovley couple who couldnt do.enough for us.
Very nice and lovely. Definitely recommend this place and definitely I will go again.
