Our favourite hotel in The Rockies
Daniel at service desk was very genuine. Helpful, personable and even upgraded us to a room with “an amazing view”. The restaurant was some of the best food we’ve had anywhere! You come here for the view. The service was outstanding though. Only negative was the bed is very firm so if you prefer a softer mattress like me- it may make for a long night tossing and turning. Good news Is- there’s complementary cappuccino all night in the lounge with an amazing view of the stars.

Beautiful Hotel. No complaints. Perfect location if you are on your way to Jasper and want to do some hiking between Banff & Jasper.

Fair 4.0
Once we arrived they had a happy hour where a lot of the guest participated, no mask were worn at that time, even after people finished eating and drinking. We felt the space was small to have that amount of people there. Mask policy was not enforced, since we saw many guests after, not wearing their masks. The room was spacious, but one of the bed linen was dirty with a stain and the pillow covers were also dirty. They changed our room, it the damage was done. We didn’t enjoy the stay which we had high expectations for.

Good 6.0
We stayed 1 night at Glacier View Lodge. We arrived late (9:10pm) because we were hiking in Jasper, and very hungry. When we arrived, we were told all food places were closed (they actually close at 9pm) and there is nothing in the surroundings... Fortunately the woman at the front desk was able to open the area with "Food To Go" where we could grab a couple of sandwiches, that were added to our final invoice. This was disappointing that there is no room service, not even a late night food option for this kind of property. Overall, this place is dedicated to tourists with all what it implies... Overpriced, cold rooms. I will not come back.

Very good 8.0
The room was spacious , modern and very clean. The staff is friendly as well. However, the air- conditioner was set to 21 degree celcius which is quite cold. We tried to adjust to 23 degree but in vain. Also, the faucet for the shower needs repair. After we adjust to a suitable temperature, it gradually became cold again and it took almost 15 seconds to get warm again, The water temperature was very unstable

Very nice and exclusive property, since it is only one floor. Glacier views are technically true, but my room window was small and i could see the glacier only when standing right in front of it. Beds comfy, pillows lumpy, love the Rocky Mountain Soap Company toiletries!!
