In an excellent location with very helpful staff. On arrival a couple of things were not as clean as one would hope (multiple hairs in bathroom and bedding & shower curtain was beginning to mold). However, when brought to staff attention they were able to fix this for us. A big plus for this area is that the hotel has an elevator.

Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to get to. Small but comfortable room. Downside of a single room is a small toilet / shower area. Shower not very well thought through. Head fitted on a high bracket with the water coming straight out onto the opposite wall. I am tall enough to reach up and remove it from the bracket and use it as a hand shower. Shorter guests would have real problems with this.

This is a no-frills hotel which is close to Paddington station, which is great, but that's about it. When we arrived, we got put into a room in the basement floor, and within minutes of being in the room, we could hear the vibrations of the trains from Paddington station. As we were staying with our young son, we knew that he would not sleep through that, so we did thankfully get moved to the first floor. The room was fine. Thankfully, they had a fan, and it was clean. We didn't stay much at the hotel, so it was just a place to sleep for us. I just think the reception could have been a little bit more informative. When we were waiting for our room, a guy was eating a raw carrot in front of us at the front desk, which just also felt really unprofessional.

The hotel was lovely, we found it to be quiet and clean and everything we wanted for a budget stay in London. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the location is fantastic with a bus stop right outside and a short walk to the tube and trains. We walked into London which was great seeing different sights.
