I thoroughly enjoyed the location because it was so close to the bus station for the train station. The staff was very cordial and nice. The hotel could have some amenities like a welcome mint or a bottle of water or an extra touch.

This hotel is the worst hotel I ever stayed. It’s not worth a 1 star rating. They gave us a room and bathroom in which the toilet didn’t have a seat to seat on no cover. The heating start from 8 pm and is set to low which I believe is disgusting. It’s was cold and they they they can’t to anything. Hotel com said breakfast is free but they said we have to pay. This hotel is ripping people off.

Breakfast was pleasant. Check in and out was easy. Had Hot water when needed but shower very tiny. Room had mold and was not clean. Bedding was sparse and room was cold. Walls paper thin so very noisy from beside and above when people wore shoes in their room. Was inexpensive and convenient to Venice which is why we decided to book this location and I guess you get what you pay for😏

No bugs!! Hazaa!!
This place actually had reception (very rare), a private bathroom (even rarer) and was in a great location. Bus to venice ia right outaide the door and takes 10 minutes that u can hop on the back for free if you want to risk it. The hotel was the only place in that price range that had no reviews about bugs, and we found none. There was no bathrobes, bathtubs, nor kettles in the rooms as advertised, but haha we know better than to expect it. There are grocery stores nearby and many cafes. We didnt get the breakfast at the hotel and didnt feel tempted to. But we were able to get hot water for tea. 1030 check out is better than 10! Internet worked on my partners android phone and our ipad, but my android phone couldnt get it. Which was annoying. Also heaters barely worked and the queen is 2 singles that slide apart. But did i mention there was no bugs? So.

Not good!
Avoid at all cost. Room was terrible, stayed for 4 nights and had the same towels our whole stay. Staff had been in the room though as I left my case in a particular way and took photo of it, when I returned in the evening it was obvious someone had been in my case. Nobody gave us clear instructions on how to use the safe so we had to carry our valuables with us as I wouldn’t have trusted leaving in room. Rude staff, I tried to be friendly but they never wanted to know. The front door is continuously locked so if your going out or in you have to wait for a staff member opening the door, one evening we waited a while before someone let us in. Room wasn’t the best nor was the bathroom. There is no way I will ever use this excuse of a hotel ever again even if it was offered to me free of charge!!!!!

Conveniently located and pleasant staff. The room price was ok, we were looking for closest to the station with own bathroom. Upon entering the room, there is a smell of stale smoke. The walls had strange stains or smearing on them. The bathroom door (if you can call it that) didn't quite shut and the shower had mould in it. The towels smelled of bleach het had some yellow stains... One window was missing and the inner windows wouldn't shut. Glad we were only there one night. Luckily, there was aircon.

Cheap but not worth it
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. However, there should be a minimum of comfort and cleanliness, especially cleanliness, with a hotel. This was unfortunately not the case with Hotel Da Tito. The Bad: - The room had an awful smell. It took more than half an hour with all windows wide open (room and bathroom) to get a bit of the smell out, but it still was quite present. - The bedside table had some nasty big marks on it, we had to clean it with a soaked towel to use it. - The bathroom shower had quite some mold (fungi) - The mattress was hard (but that is a subjective thing) The Good: - The staff was friendly - The room was big and had three beds, one king size and 2 twin beds. - The breakfast was OK (served by the staff, bread and croissant, butter and jam, coffee and tea) - the parking (5 euros per night and 7 euros for the day if you want to leave it the day you check-out) - The area is OK, there is some cheap food in walking distance. I went late night and had no issues. My wife is very picky with cleanliness, and she was not at all satisfied. I cannot recommend this hotel, you could probably get a better experience for the same price or a bit more expensive. I wouldn't come back a second time. If you're with some friends and you want to get low on the price by splitting, maybe you could consider, but only if you don't care too much about cleanliness.

Dirty, but close to bus stops
Dirty floor and storage in room. Dirty carpet in stairs (please remove it). Many things in dire need of repair. Continental breakfast: 1 croissant, 1 small bread, 1 yogourt cup, 1 small piece of cheese, NO FRUITS: everyday was the same. Rates OK. Best plus: very close to bus stops. Not much english spoken. Internet was spotty, but OK. Staff was nice and ready to help. Overall, 2-stars.

Don't go !!!!
It was a horrible experience and ruined our vacation in Venice. I paid a lot for a quadruple room but got a double bed and two folding beds. I was sleeping on one of the folding bed the bed sheet, blanket and pillow smell awful and look dirty, I've got over ten bites from the bugs and couldn't sleep for the whole night. The toilet was also terrible, everything broken and no hot water. Breakfast only coffe and bread, it was a nightmare.

Bargain for a comfy stay and easy train access
Very enjoyable except the washroom is small and water in the shower goes down slowly, causing flooding.

Great location and price for bare bones lodging
Pro: Extremely helpful staff, around the corner from Venezia Mestre train station, close to bus stop for Water town of Venice, fastest Wifi Speed I've ever had from a hotel. Con: no TV, no Fridge, no working safe, if you don't draw too much attention to yourself thenthe nneighborhood is okay.

Very Disappointing - Beware of Bed Bugs!
I was very disappointed with our stay at Hotel Da Tito. To begin with, the location is almost half an hour away from Venice by bus and we had to take an expensive taxi ride home one night when the buses were on strike. Worst of all though, the hotel was in poor repair and after two nights, my boyfriend and I were covered in bed bug bites! Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else!

Disappointing Stay - Beware of Bed Bugs
Hotel Da Tito was a major disappointment. Our first impressions were alright - the staff showed us where to buy tickets and pick up the bus for Venice just down the street from the hotel (about five euro round trip for two and a twenty minute ride each way) and breakfast was nice (croissants and cappuccino) - but our room was in very poor repair and after a couple of nights sleeping there, my boyfriend and I were covered in painful and unsightly bug bites. We told the concierge that we suspected their establishment had bed bugs and they moved us to a new room. This fixed the problem, confirming for us the original issue. The hotel did refund us a small amount for our trouble at my request but I am not confident that they planned on doing anything to rectify the issue for future guests. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone.

Good service with what they've got to work with
For the overall quality, it was a bit pricey. But the service was great. Just a 5 minute walk to the Mestre train station. The neighborhood could probably scare the inexperienced traveler. Nice staff. Nice breakfast.

The hotel is great. Very easy to find and only a few minutes walking from the train station. The room was bigger than I was expecting.
