Our stay at the Notting Hill Gate Hotel was great.The location was excellent.- especially when needing to get to Heathrow during strike action which closed all underground stations.
Although we didn't have a window we could look out nor open, we had an A/C unit which kept the room comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated and the shower was wonderful. They also provided us with fresh towels every day which was unexpected but appreciated. I would definitely stay here again on another visit.

I booked a small room , so even when i saw that the room was the size of the closet i didnt mind but it was dusty , the sheets unclean with hair on them and there were a weird smell moist and humidity also the biggest problem was that the room was on the stairs right next to the reception with 0 sound proofing so i expected that a sound of a coming guest was going to wake me up a few times but i didnt expect that the receptionist was going to have a video call till morning hours. Maybe other rooms at this hotel are better but i had a terrible stay

Conveniently located and clean. However, we had a double room which was extremely small and clustered, we couldn't even open up our suitcases on the floor. It wasn't worth the money.

The room was clean, but the shower only had shampoo and body wash sachets, as opposed to a dispenser, the wall mounted fan was clearly on it’s last legs, and the curtains weren’t able to be expanded out far enough to really block out all the light. The lobby has seen better days, and could definitely use updating. Overall I would say this hotel is ok for a night or two, but would look for somewhere with nicer amenities for a longer stay

The location is great and the staff friendly. There is no AC, but had two fans that were enough. Close to public transportation (both metro and bus) close the the famous Notting Hill landmarks and market. Wide options for good food and supermarkets. No elevator, but is not a big deal.
