The person who had met me at the door and helped was absolutely amazing! Had an issue with my booking as they couldn’t find it, but then ended up sorting a room out for me, couldn’t be anymore happier! Definitely stay again

Apartment converted to hotel, with fridge. Very convenient and near shopping and dining.

Good stay. They were kind enough to offer us a bigger room due to delay in cleaning. Because of the location, it was pretty noisy but all in all, good stay. Will book again.

Room was clean, a little bit of damp staining on the walls and a little bit of mould in the bathroom. Shower was a waterfall shower (needs descaling) but was absolutely lovely after my chemical gig. Beds were comfy same with the pillows Clean throughout. Had a fridge, kettle cups, towels, tea etc. Shops very close by. Sky TV. Wifi was good too. Daughter was there whilst we went to a gig. She sat outside for a bit waiting for us to come back and the staff member checked to make sure she was ok. Sat with her for a bit. He is very friendly, super attentive. If you need anything you can just whatsapp and he'll reply Only issue i really found was there is no air con, just normal standing fans. In this weather if you're on the top floor you will wake in a puddle of sweat. Or not sleep at all. Otherwise I cannot fault this hotel. I would definitely stay again.. just maybe not up the 3 flights of stairs after standing at a gig for hours. Id give this hotel 8/10. 😃

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice and gave the information I asked for. The bathrooms were in good condition apart from the walls. Fair price for what you get.

The room was neglected, some dirt and coffee marks on the walls and skirtings, dirty carpet next to fridge and under the desk. No milk only coffee and tea. The bedroom radiator didnt work so bathroom was warmest place. Shower didnt drain properly and almost flooded the bathroom. Staff were friendly and professional

When I arrived at the hotel there were a few things missing from the room (due to a new cleaning company who had just been employed) but the EXCELLENT staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and quick to rectify all of the issues straight away. This AMAZING service really made the difference from staying in a basic hotel to a great experience. Special thanks to Manny and his team for being such kind, polite and helpful people throughout my stay.

Good value for the price

The room was small, but comfortable. The room and bathroom were spotless. The only negative is that the bed had a big dip in it, making the sleep not as comfortable as it could have been.

2/10 Poor

Proximity to public transport was good but it seemed as if only the linen had been changed and the room had not been cleaned. The bathroom and refrigerator were both mouldy, the walls dirty, the floors not well vacuumed and the areas beneath and around the bed and walls were very dusty.

Good if working and sleeping Shops/facilities. 🙂

Basic. Price okay if can get lower rate. Fine for transport links and safe area if leaving early morning. Need to travel for work again soon and was just going to book again. Room a little warm at times but fan provided. Reception man was pleasant and friendly in his manner . TV was not getting reception but I never needed and could have asked about it.

Cheap stay

Cheap hotel, service was good. Toilet seat didn't fit the toilet properly but that was fine. Couple marks in the loo again not too much of an issue. There was a hair in one of the beds but it wasn't much of a problem. The Tv was broken but didn't hinder the usage. The lovely gentleman in reception had reduced the price for me which was kind of him. Main concern is the room was downstairs which didn't have a light until you got too the rooms. Maybe it might be worth getting a light installed as I can forsee an accident happening.

We travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels around the world. We’re not hotel snobs, but we do appreciate the comfort that 4- and 5-star properties usually provide. On this occasion, we had a meeting in London and didn’t want to spend over £400 for one night, so we decided to stay at the Plaza Hotel in Hammersmith instead. On arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who explained everything we needed to know. The room itself could definitely use some modernisation. However, our main issue was the bed—it was extremely hard, and as a result, we barely slept, which wasn’t ideal before an important meeting. Overall, it’s fair to say you get what you pay for. After this experience, we’ve agreed that we’ll stick to 4- or 5-star hotels in the future. Of course, this is just our personal opinion—others may have a different experience.

Mixed review

We stayed at this hotel during a heatwave and since we got a room on the top floor and the room had no AC we could barely breathe in there, let alone sleep. One of the two windows were broken and could not be opened. The room and the bathroom had not been properly cleaned and the carpet needs changing. The staff were really friendly and tried their best to help us feel more comfortable, provided us with an extra fan in the room for instance. After the heatwave passed it was ok to sleep there. All in all not the worst hotel I've been in but certainly not the best. Location was really good, but the street just outside was very busy until late. I think every ambulance and police car in town drove past there. At least it felt like that. WESTFIELD shopping mall was close, walking distance from hotel. You only had to pass what we ended up calling the "Marijuana park" on the way there. Lots of weed-smoking people in the area. If you can look and smell past that, it was a nice area:)

The Hotel was okay, can’t say more positive than that really. Paid just over £100 for a quadruple room, so on balance, you get what you paid for. Bed and towels clean, carpet seemed new and well kept. Whilst most of the bathroom was clean, the shower was not, disappointingly. Had to wipe out with some wet wipes I had on me. Whilst fixtures and tiles look tidy and new, paint is peeling on bathroom ceiling. Would have reported but no consistent person on reception as seems to be one person managing multiple hotels along the block. Only there for one night so made do. Nice location, walked into Hammersmith which seemed pleasant area. Accessible public transport. Blind broken in the room, didn’t bother us too much as was a skylight but easy snag to fix really for the hotel. Got the impression, hotel used by single men as long term home as cheaper than rent. Saw couple men bringing small bags of rubbish with take away wrappers to place at front of building with rest of the rubbish which seemed normal practice for them. Fridge in room was useful for us though and was clean and cold. Fan provided also useful. For us, think we’ll pay a little more and stay in a Premier Inn or something similar next time. Kind of guaranteed what you will get.

For the price paid it was excellent value. Although it didn't affect me l noticed the staircase was rather narrow and steep which could cause probs for the older guests ( heavy luggage ).Also the shower pressure was poor. Apart from that, all good.

The carpet was dirty and not hoovered. The bed and pillows will make you sick, very filthy so we have to put a towel on top of them so we'll forget how terrible they were. You don't want to touch the sachets of coffee or sugar because they were so dusty and looked dirty. We didn't use the mugs because they look very disgusting. The bathroom sink and the toilet were not clean. They need a bit of scrubbing.

Shops near by owners were lovely but had stains on sheets cracked and moulded walls and should let people know how many stairs there are to room windows were dirty and one blind needed sticky tape to keep down

It all started with arrival and being told credit card machine was down could we pay cash. This hotel on apple advertising as a crowne plaza hotel and using that logo in fact this is almost a hostel. No cold water in shower and couldn't fix it. So it was 30 degrees and couldn't take a cold or even lukewarm shower. Front side so notified and did nothing. No food on premises, no coffee maker in room. I don't mind any of this if the price is fair but this was $250 cad a night and was pathetic. I have been happier in steel sheds in the middle of Himalayas of camping in mountains.
