Nice place and served us well in terms of location an basic amenities. Rooms were very small but we just needed a place to lay our heads at night. I like the feel the place which is 200+ years old. Apart from a huge piece of plaster hanging in the entrance, the place was nice. Leaving our luggage there while we went sightseeing our last day was a huge plus

The staff were very friendly and the hotel well located. Its on a pretty quiet street and O had no problems with outside noise. The room itself was small but functional ans lld very clean. The TV had not been PAT tested since 2018 and there was a hole in the ceiling where they was once a smoke alarm. The bed was also pretty creaky. Overall its a friendly hotel, very clean and very affordable. Probably just needs a bit of routine maintenance to get it up to scratch.
