Beautifully renovated hotel in a gorgeous historic building. We stayed here and travelled into Wembley for an event and it was perfect, would definitely recommend parking at Stanmore station and staying over here for a stress free trip into the centre of London or Wembley! The hotel is located perfectly in the centre of St Albans so there are plenty of charming independent shops to explore, not to miss the stunning walk around the cathedral! We can’t wait to come back

Overall we had a lovely stay. Breakfast was amazing. Reception was friendly. But my suitcase was searched through by housekeeping even though I had put it in the wardrobe. Nothing was taken just my clothes moved around and biscuits taken out of it. I reported this and reception staff said they would look into it.
