Lots to like about this place. Very central, very stylish. Staff were friendly, piano in the foyer very charming. One niggle was the aircon in the top floor wasn't up to the task (it was a warm week for April!) and opening the skylights was a bit noisy. Special note for the new local speciality hotel restaurant - well worth giving it a go. Very high end at a fair price.

Brno in Moravia is a hidden jewel, the small city (easily accessible by express train) has a quirky but vibrant energy and the Grand Palace hotel, under new Czech ownership, oozes class and sophistication. Trips to the amazing underground Caves in Moravia are easy by local train and Brno has several extremely fine restaurants (Pavillon and Vittorio especially). In so many ways a superior experience to wonderful Prague.

A smart hotel just off the market square. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Located on the top floor it benefited from black out skylights. There was no distracting noise from outside or from other guests. All staff were polite and helpful, the front desk kindly printed concert tickets on our behalf on our arrival. This is a premise we would love to revisit and totally recommend

Hotel is easy to access by public transportation. It's just a few bus stops from main station & it's located in close proximity to bus stop. So easy to hop onto transit and acces train to Prague. Hotel is clean and has interior architecture like a castle. Room is spacious, clean and has alll thats needed for your stay. Staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. If I should visit Brno again, this is where I'm staying.

My son and I loved this property and would love the opportunity to stay in it again. It is an architecturally beautiful structure and the staff was welcoming and professional. the sauna room was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely and tea and dessert in the bar were excellent.
