Bacchus Hotel - Ancient Pisa
The hotel brochure says there is private parking for everyone. There was not. In fact parking was quite tricky as there were few spaces for parking near the hotel. The brochure also said all rooms had baths. Ours did not. It was a tiny area, with a very small shower which you couldn't really turn round in without hitting the shower controls and banging into the doors. The toilet was wedged against the shower. The room was clean. The air conditioning worked OK. It was adequate for an overnight stay. It was convenient being able to have dinner at the hotel and it was very easy to get to Olympia the next day.

A great hotel and friendly staff!
The Bacchus hotel is wonderfully maintained and has an incredibly welcoming staff. It is very close to Ancient Olympia. We really enjoyed our stay. Achilles was a wonderful host and we hope to return to see him again on our next trip.

Location of the hotel is cliff top with a very good feel of local life. We played soccer with local kids and had a stroll around the area.

A gem in Olympia
We enjoyed our stay at the Bacchus Hotel very much. Spacious room w/a great view of the valley. Modern bathroom, patio w/table and chairs, and a beautiful swimming pool (too cold for swimming for us in October!). We ate dinner there that evening. The baked aubergine w/tomatoes and feta was incredible! Breakfast was also very good.
