Great location in Angera for this 3 star hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming and it felt like a family-run establishment. It was a little rough around the edges in places (e.g. minibar fridges could do with a good clean), but overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Angera!

On our last night in Italy, we decided to stay somewhere well located to get to the airport the next morning. We really weren't expecting our last night pit stop in Ferno to be such a fantastic stay. Everything was high quality; be that the bed and the linen or the recommendations given by our lovely hosts, Andrea and Antonella!

We had a lovely stay, the room was beautifully layout. It was located next to the breakfast terrace so was a little noisy if you like a lie in, if you're an early bird like us it didnt make a difference as we were up early to enjoy the area. Lots of cute local bars and restaurants all a short walk.

We had the first floor suite or mini apartment with fridge (freezer box above it) microwave, kettle, full size dishwasher and sink. They kindly left us a bottle of red wine and biscuits and two bottles of water. We went to Conad supermarket which wasn’t far by car, we are driving. Or Carrefour express within walking distance in town. Many restaurants locally. Being British we don’t like to eat late. We can recommend Centrale as they were always busy and cooked all day.

The hotel self was nice and the staff were very friendly. They gave me tips etc. And helped me through my stay.
The shuttle bus was very convenient when you travel via MXP. They will pick you up when you arrived.
My room was very spacious and clean! With all the amenities. The restaurant was sublime and friendly staff. I would recommend you to get your dinner here.
Traveling to the city is better with the train to Milano Porta Garibaldi. When you are there you can pick the tram, metro or bus...

We have just returned from a week at the Antico Verbana apartments and can thoroughy recommend them. The staff on reception are pleasant and respond to your requests quickly. We arrived at 7pm in the evening so as information on the website says there were no staff on duty, but the envelope with our keys to the apartment were on the reception desk waiting for us.

Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in an Arona hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. Should the price be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a good rate.
Consider your location: Staying in proximity to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with increased costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You could also explore independent hotels located further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
