InterContinental Malta by IHG

InterContinental Malta by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"We had originally booked a classic room with pool view and club lounge access. This room was okay. The flooring was very odd, an area of carpet around the beds and then a plastic type flooring, similar to an outdoor rug. Not a great room foe the price. However, due to circumstances beyond the control of the hotel, we were upgraded to an executive suite. This room was amazing. Outdoor pool and rooftop pool both great. Staff in the hotel went above and beyond. Breakfast was great. Pre dinner drinks in the club lounge had a large selection of drinks, not the usual wine and beer. The location of the hotel is in Paceville so very much the middle of party area. Plenty of restaurants nearby."

"First of I must say the entire staff at the hotel were like family and especially the employees in housekeeping front desk. I just told them don’t stress out and let those caterpillars talk to you. They would know what I’m talking about and the servers love them all they always say he comes the American Mr. Netter I don’t have anything else that I can say that would be negative. Everyone was very polite and definitely on point and professional spy area is very unique so I think you all enjoy the place. It was my first time traveling to the European area and I’m definitely coming back maybe at the end of October so it’s pretty cool place."

"Breakfast was very good and when we checked in they upgraded us to a suite. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Great location and the balcony was amazing. Would absolutely stay there again in a heartbeat. Keep the room key in the power slot to keep the airconditioning going or the room will get very hot."

"Overall my partner and I enjoyed our stay, but the first room we stayed had a putrid odor, like sewage. When we notified reception they first sent house keeping to just spray the room, which did not solve the issue, but eventually they changed our rooms. Aside from the smell of our first room, the amenities the hotel provided were top notch, loved the pool, and the location was great, walking distance to the ferry and plenty of restaurants around the hotel."

Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa Malta

Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa Malta

8/10 Good
"We had a pleasant stay at the MARITIM Antonine Hotel & Spa. The location is excellent and very convenient, and we were happy with the service. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was nicely designed and comfortable overall. However, we were assigned a corner room located close to a storage/service area where the cleaning staff kept and collected their equipment. Unfortunately, this resulted in quite a lot of noise, as we could hear the cleaners moving their supplies and working nearby. The room also did not seem to be very well soundproofed, so we could hear noise from the surrounding areas quite clearly. While we appreciated the good service, the noise was the main downside of our stay and made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing environment, especially at certain times of the day. Overall, the hotel has a great location, good service, and pleasant room design. We would happily consider staying again, but we would recommend improving the soundproofing and avoiding assigning guests to rooms located directly next to storage or service areas."
