Very popular with locals so advisable to book a table if you want to eat there.

Our host, Rebecca, is obviously passionate about the guest experience. The Cordelia is a magnificent period property full of charm and warmth. The room was amazing - being roomy and well presented with period furniture, quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was probably the best we've had, made with top quality ingredients. It took us a whole day of walking to work it off! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in Adelphi cottage for two nights as we were attending a wedding just outside the village. My daughter of 10 years absolutely loved it as so did I, it was like home from home, very clean and spacious with fantastic decor the beds were very comfy and the linen was of very good quality. We would definitely stay there again or recommend this facility to anyone. A fabulous find.

We received a warm welcome. Our large, airy room featured a huge, comfortable bed and a small but well appointed shower room. The decor was beautiful throughout. The breakfast choice was amazing - great for vegetarians and vegans also. Parking was on-street, but easy to find and free for 3 hours with a disc (from reception) and between 5pm and 9am.

Very welcoming, we had booked a small room with sea view but were upgraded to a large room. Everying was spot on with two comfortable chairs in a large bay window allowing us to sit and take in an absolutely superb panoramic view of the South Bay and headland. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast superb with an excellent choice and the staff very friendly. I really am struggling to find anything to to complain about, however trivial! Would thoroughly recommend.

Stayed here several times.
The hotel is excellent, the staff are amazing, the food is so gorgeous - just too much of it !
The rooms (and we have several different ones) are warm, inviting and immaculate.
All have TVs and tea making facilites with an ample choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, all are en-suite and the bathrooms
are spotless along with a good supply of towels and comp toiletries.
Plenty of car parking space
The only downside to this place is time passes too quickly...

The room had a superb view and it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding! The hotel is situated on the north side but it is only a ten minute walk across town to get to the south side of Scarborough. We would recommend the Miricia Hotel to all who are looking for somewhere to stay when visiting Scarborough

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Scarborough
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable months to visit Scarborough are January, February, and October, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a budget-friendly trip that allows you to fully appreciate the town's historical sites and cultural offerings, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. During your visit, you can explore key attractions such as the stunning beach, the majestic castle, and the vibrant theatre scene, all while enjoying the friendly atmosphere and family-friendly entertainment options. This makes Scarborough a great value for money destination for those looking to experience its rich history and culture without breaking the bank.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find enticing last-minute deals for Scarborough, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. The Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, increasing your chances of finding the best hotel deals. You'll receive timely notifications if prices drop or rooms become available, helping you secure a last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a more budget-friendly option for your stay in Scarborough. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you discover a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Scarborough's outstanding public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
