Staff is great!

The staff is AMAZING and that is what really made the experience a positive. It is an older resort on the veach, so signs of wear and tear. Our first room was not acceptable and needed a big overhaul. Keri at the front desk showed us other rooms and quickly changed us to ensure a pleasant stay. Amenities are great. They are also in process of remodeling rooms.

fun place, but TINY rooms!

The resort was decent but older. The grill and tiki bar were very convenient. The balcony was large. The beach was amazing. The room was TINY!! The toilets didn’t work correctly even after repeated request to have it fixed. The coffee pot didn’t work correctly. There was no table in the room like in the pictures bc there was no room for one. The elevator broke on the last day.

The perfect family place to stay!

Great location. Close to pier park. Fantastic amenities. We visited in the winter and all the pools were nicely heated and so much fun for the kids. Rooms and grounds were clean. Room was well laid out with lots of space. Staff and even other guests were kind. Sunset views were picture perfect. Food at coconuts was pretty good too.

A Older Gem With a Breathtaking View & Great Staff

We stayed 2 nights in the ocean view room that slept 6. Our view was breathtaking. You could tell that it was a older hotel with mostly remodeled rooms. The door to the batheoom would not stay shut but overall a nice and clean room. The pullout couch had a really thin mattress. The staff was amazing! We called to get some blankets to try to cushion the mattress in the couch and we had not 1 blanket but 2 within 5 minutes. We needed extra towels (we had 6 in the room) and they had those to us within 5 minutes or less as well. There are 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, a gift shop, and a ice cream shop all connected. They have swings to sit on to watch the waves roll in, and hammocks to lie in as well. The view from our balcony was beautiful! One thing that I will say is that if the restaurant across tgr street (coconuts) is recommended, DO NOT go. The food is not great and definitely NOT worth the price. Plus they charge 18% gratuity and that applies to a party of 1 or 15 or more. We will most definitely stay at Sandpiper again!

Sandpiper Beacon Beach panama city beach

It was pretty clean, no issues there. Pretty quiet since it was off-season. Some of the rooms are kind of small with those big king beds. Right on the beach was definitely a plus! Coin laundry room on site. I would come back with a group in better weather but i image the traffic is horrendous during warmer months.

The staff and amenities were exceptionally great! Our family had a blast bringing in the new year here. Though for the price i did expect the rooms to be more updated and cleaner. The carpet floors felt dirty. The ceiling had water damage around the light fixtures and they smelled musky. Would love to return in the future to enjoy the pools, beach, and tiki bar but hope for a better room.

Beware of room 144

Room 144 was a terrible place to stay. It was loud with conversations late into the night and early morning workers. Carts rolling morning and night and barking dogs. I loved the resort but this room should not be rented

Loved staying here, we went the week before thanksgiving. The resort was basically empty. Which was great. Super easy access to the beach and we had a ground level room which I dnt recommend only because people were walking around and looking into the room. We did see like three roaches halfway through our stay. Other than that lived staying here.
