Stressful Stay
The receptionist threatened us to leave our credit card with him as security.
Then he forced us to clean the room before check out to avoid penalty. We were all anxious at bed time worrying about how much penalty we would have to pay.
Holiday turned to nightmare.

Super spot especially if landing late at the airport due to weather! The check in was flawless and friendly. The room was comfortable. For those wanting to be close to the lake, it is perfect. A car is needed though.

Terrible shower! VERY small, and non-removable shower head.

Great motel, beautiful lake to walk beside, swimming pool. A bit out of Rotorua but that just makes it more peaceful.

Cedarwood Lakeside is just that,lakeside. It is a few minutes drive from town and being at the end of the road is quiet and private.It has a lovely view of the lake and is on the foreshore.
There is a nice pool and kayaks are available.The units are spotless and have everything you need.
We have stayed in Rotorua many many times and this was our best experience by far.

We were delighted especially our kids they like the place wherein they could play and swim. The room were very cozy, we enjoyed our trip staying on your place. We will definitely come back soon. The owner was very nice and accomodating too.

Great hotel by the lake. Not directly in town, so it’s nice and quiet, but close enough that you can quickly drive in for food etc.

Great location right on the lake. Owners could not be more pleasant or helpful. Rooms very quiet and clean with updated bathrooms. The pool, outside seating area is in great need of renovation. Pool needs to be resurfaced and fencing older. Pool water was sparkling and warm. I felt for the cost it was a great place to stay.
