Uptown Sedona
Uptown Sedona dazzles with its mix of Southwestern charm and artistic energy. Red rock formations tower over streets lined with Native American jewellery vendors, art galleries showcasing local landscapes, and shops filled with handcrafted pottery. Visitors can explore the Sedona Arts Centre, Gallery Row, or the Motion Picture Museum while street musicians enhance the creative atmosphere. Southwestern cuisine dominates the restaurant scene, from casual cafés to upscale spots serving prickly pear margaritas and Navajo-inspired dishes. Adobe-style buildings with earth-tone stucco and red tile roofs complement the natural surroundings. Despite popularity, the district preserves authentic charm with local artisans selling genuine crafts throughout this walkable area.

West Sedona
West Sedona treats outdoor lovers to stunning red rock views and easy access to nature's playground. Hit the trails at Coffee Pot Rock, soak up panoramic vistas at Airport Mesa, or discover hidden gems like Amitabha Stupa & Peace Park. When your legs need a break, explore local art galleries or watch the mountains transform during Sedona's famous sunsets. The area strikes a perfect balance between practical and picturesque with casual Southwestern eateries and cosy cafes that won't break the bank. Holiday rentals and modest motels offer more authentic stays than tourist zones. While a car helps for exploring farther trails, many local spots are just a short walk away.

Chapel
The Chapel area in Sedona combines spiritual awe and natural splendour with its striking centrepiece, the Chapel of the Holy Cross. This architectural marvel juts dramatically from red sandstone cliffs, offering panoramic views and moments of quiet reflection. Art lovers can wander through nearby galleries, while outdoor enthusiasts hit hiking trails winding through the crimson landscape. A car is necessary since public transit is limited on the narrow, winding roads. While restaurants and hotels aren't directly in the Chapel vicinity, Sedona's main dining and accommodation options are just a short drive away. Visitors should pack water and plan for early morning to avoid crowds and experience the area's peaceful magic.

Nepenthe
Nepenthe showcases Sedona's red rock splendour in a peaceful residential setting away from tourist crowds. Hiking enthusiasts can hit nearby Sunset Trail or explore Grasshopper Point Picnic Area just moments away. The neighborhood's contemporary Southwestern homes blend beautifully into the natural landscape, offering a genuine retreat with stunning vistas of formations like Coffee Pot Rock. Luxury holiday rentals dominate the accommodation scene, featuring gourmet kitchens and expansive windows framing dramatic desert views. While dining and shopping require a short drive to Tlaquepaque Arts Village, the trade-off is worth it for stargazing from private patios and the serene desert ambiance.

Red rock formations tower like ancient sentinels, creating an almost otherworldly landscape. Hike Devil's Bridge for that perfect photo or seek renewal at one of Sedona's famous vortexes. Jeep tours bounce through rust-colored canyons while guides point out formations resembling coffee pots to cathedrals. Browse nearly 100 art galleries around Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, designed like a Mexican village. The Sedona International Film Festival draws cinephiles, while mountain bikers tackle slickrock trails with stunning views. At sunset, visit Airport Mesa Viewpoint where sandstone appears to glow from within, explaining why even the most cynical visitors leave feeling strangely renewed.

Mountain Modern Sedona, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Modern Sedona. I booked this hotel based on an internet search and crossed my fingers that it would live up to its online photos, listed amenities, and reviews. Not only did it live up to how it was advertised online, it exceeded our expectations! Each one of our family members (myself my husband and three kids) each said this was one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed at. It had SO much character...from the map printed wallpaper (topographical maps and trails) to the bike seat mounted above the fireplace to the fall mural/print in the hotel room...and made this hotel such a cool experience. The coffee/drink choices in the morning were great (and super friendly staff). We only wish we had gotten to stay more than one night! The only negative would be that the cool could have been cleaner-lots of gnats/bugs had settled themselves onto the surface on the hot summer night. Thank you for the wonderful stay-we will be recommending this hotel to anyone we know planning a trip to Sedona!"
The Wilde Resort and Spa
"Everything was great, we only wish there were onsite activities offered in the afternoon/evenings on the days that we stayed there. We were out exploring each morning before the hottest times of the day, so we were not able to take advantage of any onsite activities."
Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock
"Amazing everything! Coffee available, great fitness center."
