Edgerton Hotel
Cosy and comfortable stay close to town centre
Lovely, cosy, 10mins walk from the town centre. Interesting building from the 16th /17th century.

Amazing service
Loved the hotel the service was perfect. Only problem I would have is it was warm in the night and cold in the afternoon

Customer Service Let Down
My mother, brother (14 years old) and grandmother (70 years old) arrived at midnight 26/01/2018 after reserving a twin room with the option of a rollaway bed on the understanding of £25 per night extra as NOT STATED ANYWHERE AGE LIMIT. My mother was pressured into booking a family room at an extra £120 odd on top of £270 that I paid. After asking for a manager she was told no manager available as it was the weekend. At breakfast, the milk was a month out of date and the staff were not accommodating at all stating no manager available at weekends. When my mother eventually spoke to the manager, he was unprepared to listen, accused her of harassing and abusing his stuff and that my mother had complaints against her from his staff. He told my mother he does not understand her problem with the booking and that nothing is free in this world and she better leave his hotel! The manager was dismissive, condescending and extremely rude to the point my grandmother became ill from stress with the way he was speaking to my mother. In total we paid £580 (£200 on a new hotel) and only received a refund of £80 for ONE NIGHT of FIVE when my family only stayed for one night. Absolutely disgusting behaviour that completely ruined my family’s trip at an already stressful time.
