Fabulous hotel , all rooms are new and very clean , everything was just spot on , breakfasts were great , large selection of fresh hot and cold choices, and everything topped up constantly, plenty of coffee machines and very nice coffee. The staff are amazing , so helpful and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Beds are comfy , powerful shower and fluffy towels. The food in the bar was really good and they also have two restaurants so there is plenty of choice. The hotel is a 10 -15 walk into town downhill on the way in and taxis are cheap.

Lovely views and easy access to the cliff walks. The facilities feel new and staff is very accommodating. The pool was family friendly, but lap swimmers found time and space if they wanted. Only downside is the location; the walk to town is a bit long and hot - a shuttle would be nice a few times a day to maybe save a walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro. The hotel was clean, modern, and the staff were lovely. It's walking distance to town, a really great rooftop bar, and a lovely beach restaurant. The only downside was that the hotel's website states that there is an adult pool. However, when there were kids at the pool we were told by staff that it's adult recommended, not adult only, and they were not willing to police it. If having a quiet, adult-only space is important for you as you relax, as it is to us, this may not be your best option.

We had a nice stay at the Wyndham. Upon arrival we were greeted nicely and helped by front desk staff. Even though our room was on the first floor we had to walk up a flight of 7 stairs to get to our room. There was no elevator but they did have bellhop service if you wanted it. The room was clean and large. The bathroom set up is not a separate room. There is a small toilet stall with door next to a small shower stall with door both of which face into the bedroom. Both were very small and hard to negotiate for a larger person. We had a hard time figuring out how to manage lights in room and needed staff to come down and show us how to turn off lights in closet that shine into bedroom for sleeping. It would have been helpful if bellhop had shown us all of this upon arrival instead of figuring it out later. We ate breakfast at the breakfast buffet which had a nice variety and food was fresh and tasty. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We used the pool bar which was nice but took a while to get drinks even when it was not very busy. The pool was nice looking but too cold to enjoy for us. We tried to get to the beach but it was a long walk that was not very well marked and gave up trying to get there. We did not find it very walkable to things and were glad we had a car. Parking was good and was not hard to find a spot. Overall I think it was expensive and I would not pay that much to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is modern and tastefully designed. Spa facilities were outstanding and couldn't fault it, save for some lack of cleaning in certain areas around the pool. Breakfast was a standard spread, but what they had was good quality, particularly liked the fresh egg and pancake station. We went to celebrate our anniversary and informed the staff, but were not greeted with so much as a cookie to help us celebrate the occasion. For a five star resort, I expected a bit more. However, the overall service provided by the reception and breakfast staff was good. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, and the staff were great. One thing to be aware of: if you value privacy while sleeping, avoid room 204. The room is right next to the hallway used by guests on the upper second floor. People often walk by or even pause there to look at the pool view, and from that spot they can clearly see into the room at a very close distance. It led to several awkward moments of eye contact while lying in bed. Also, the indoor spa and jacuzzi were not working during our stay.

The hotel has been recently renovated to an excellent standard. Our room was immaculate, with plenty of space, a balcony with comfortable lounge chair, and the usual coffee table and two chairs. The adult pool was our preferred place - much quieter than the main pool. The breakfast as others have said has been excellent with plenty of choice every day. The a la carte restaurant is totally worth it. The food at the bar and the restaurant was also amazing even though we only tried a few things and spent most of our evenings visiting local restaurants - you will be spoilt for choice. Carvoiero has plenty of great options but also worth venturing further out to Portimão or Faro if you have a car. There is a 7km hiking trail right at the hotel's doorstep on top of the cliffs passing by beautiful coves, Benagil and a number of viewpoints. Make sure you wear proper shoes and apply plenty of sunscreen as there is very little shade on the trail. If you want to do it, make sure you have an early breakfast and make a start before 9 am so you can cover most of it while the temperatures are still manageable. The service was impeccable. We found all staff to be attentive, approachable and unobtrusive. Kudos to the bar staff and front desk who went above and beyond when we had a request.

Hotel é maravilhoso porém o único problema que tive foi com Wi-Fi no quarto que fiquei . Fora do quarto funcionava normalmente mas dentro principalmente no MacBook não funcionou. Do resto estão todos de parabéns um dos melhores hotéis que me hospedei e o melhor hotel que me hospedei em Portugal
