I was told about the Mera Spa hotel by a good friend. I am so glad I booked to stay here. It may have snowed outside and the temperature about -10 at the coldest, however inside the place was fabulous and warm.
I came to Gdansk for dental treatment and couldn't have wished for a better place to relax in.
Reception staff were extremely helpful - especially when the air conditioning in my room stopped working...it was freezing. I was offered a fan heater which I found rather disappointing and...

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Gdańsk
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Gdańsk is between January and March, when hotel prices are typically lower. A stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended for visitors looking to discover the city's key landmarks and cultural heritage. During this period, you can explore historical sites, impressive monuments, and a variety of museums, all while enjoying budget-friendly dining and shopping options. This timeframe offers great value for money, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Gdańsk without breaking the bank.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals for hotels in Gdańsk, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications can help you stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities effortlessly. If prices drop or new options become available, you'll be promptly notified, enhancing your chances of securing a fantastic last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find better rates for your stay in a hotel in Gdańsk. For those seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you make a booking with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might offer more affordable options, helping you to potentially find a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, Gdańsk's superb public transport connections mean you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
