8/10 Very good

The room was very clean, but it was rather cold as it had only a convector heater-Not enough warmth and heat, hence the condensation on the windows. Shower and extactor Fan were excellent. The food, drink and the service were very good.

Lovely clean room. I had arranged previously for my booking to be changed from a double to a twin room, and this had been with no problem at all. The building is fascinating, being 500 years old. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, and the breakfasts were excellent. We stayed there over Christmas, and a particularly thoughtful touch was the Christmas stocking left outside the room door for us!
