History on the doorstep with the rained castle. Complete with moat. Lovely pretty small village. Not an extensive menu. Very tasty and well cooked food. Very attentive service. Seating inside and outside by the stream. We had the basic twin bedded room. Which was as the room suggests basic. Very clean and comfortable bed.

Lovely traditional Inn

Lovely traditonal Inn on a beautiful country village. Stunning view of the River and Nunney Castle from our room. Room was clean and qaint with a modern ish bathroom. Had all the amenities we needed and the staff could not be nicer or do more for me and my 10 year old Son. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in a picturesque village. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast and evening meals. We'll definitely be coming again. We stayed in room 11 (garden room) the only complaint I have is the toilet made a very loud squealing noise after flushing and it seemed to go on for soooo long. However this wouldn't deter us from staying again.
