11 Sept 2026Nice simple hotel, stayed 1 night without almost any luggage. Going up to the 4th floor was long but worth it as the room was quiet. The space in the room was limited (as usual in London) but enough for what I needed. The only somewhat weird part was that the shower had no curtain and was tiny, so I was uncomfortable trying not to splash too much outside. The location of the hotel was fantastic with just a few steps from the tube. Extremely nice and friendly staff, thanks a lot!!

just be reminded that they have NO LIFT. so, if u stay at upper floor, u will be expecting to carry your luggage walk up the stairs.
no very recommended for people and gues with bigger size like me as you might feel too narrow or small to fit.

30 May 2026The Norfolk is really convenient to Paddington Station. The nearness makes travelling around London super easy.
The surrounding area is busy but safe. Inside the hotel is clean. Staff were always on site and helpful. I would stay here again.

27 May 2026The staff was so kind and friendly and helpful , very accommodating with quite literally everything . We stayed during a heatwave and the air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver. The beds were comfy , the tv had Netflix and everything like that it was so lovely !

27 Jul 2026We were on the fourth floor but it has double flights of stairs and there were a lot! Wasn’t a problem for us but if you’d struggle make sure you request a lower floor.
Booked a cozy double and it was cozy but has everything we needed.
Bathroom again was cozy but was clean.
View out the window was the trees in the park opposite.
Aircon was brilliant

24 Oct 2025Good price compared with other hotels in central London and very close to all the transport links around Paddington station. Lovely reception staff. Room was great, comfy bed and crisp linen. Bathroom very small - everything you need and a good shower but it wouldn't suit a larger person. Door would benefit from more soundproofing - I could hear guests in the rooms opposite talking, but maybe I was unlucky and they were being particularly loud.

15 Oct 2025On the plus, the room was immaculately clean, everything looked very new, and the bed was very comfy.
I found the man on reception unwelcoming, and I am never impressed when a hotel reception says your room number out loud when you are a woman travelling solo. Need a company policy and training on this.
It’s an old property, so no lifts (I was on the 4th floor but thankfully only an overnight bag). It is single glazed windows so a bit noisy, and not great sound proofing between rooms.

1 Jul 2026The hotel is across the street from Paddington Station. I thought it would be noisy but we never even heard our room neighbors once they entered their own rooms. We were also there during the hottest days on record but slept well due to the in-room air conditioning unit keeping us cool.
The one downside is that the room was tight with very little storage (no dresser, only one small shelf with a teapot and glasses). I had to take clothes out of my suitcase, stand my suitcase up, and put my clothes on top of the standing suitcase just to sidle sideways by the bed. The bathroom was also tight quarters. Adding extra shelves in both the room and bathroom would help quite a bit.
Aside from needing a little more storage, it was an excellent place to stay. Quiet, cool when we needed it, close by a major transportation hub, with very responsive staff. We recommend it for travelers who want to save a little money without compromising on a quality stay.

15 May 2026Fantastic location 5 minutes walk from Paddington. Very clean and well equipped, newly renovated with really helpful friendly staff.
Yes bathrooms tiny but spotless and had everything you could need and more. Some noise but that's expected in a period building in a major city. Would not hesitate to book again.
