金山駅に近いのでアクセスは良く、買物や食事に難儀することはない。駅側に「アネックス」があるので、間違えないように気を付けたい。 近年のホテルは、客室にアメニティを常備せず、フロント近傍のアメニティコーナーから必要なモノをチョイスして持って行くスタイルとなっているが、ここもご多分に漏れずそのスタイルである。アメニティコーナーはエレベーター脇にある。 客室ドアはオートロックのためセキュリティが担保されているが、エレベーターの設計が古いため、誰でも操作できてしまう欠点がある。 4Fと11Fにランドリーと自販機がある。自販機には炭酸飲料はあるが炭酸水が無いため、炭酸水が飲みたい場合は近くのコンビニで買ってくる必要がある。 内部の設計はやや古く、客室ドアは物理鍵（ディンプルキー）、電源は室内壁面のスイッチにキーホルダーを挿すことによってONとなる仕様となっている。 デスクもやや小さめで、ここにも設計の古さが見て取れる。 クローゼットは無く、客室ドアすぐ脇にハンガースペースがある。 ユニットバスはトイレ・バスタブ合造タイプでバスタブがとにかく狭く、シャワーは好みの温度を保ったまま水栓を開閉できるものではないため、体を洗うのにとにかく難儀する。 窓からの眺望はアサインされた部屋によっては壁面しか見えない部屋があり、名古屋市街地を一望できるか眺望が全く無いかは、完全にガチャとなる。 ベッドはシモンズ製のポケットコイルマットレスのため、寝心地はかなり良い。枕も通常のモノと低反発のモノがあり、好みで選べる。「快眠にこだわっています」の謳い文句にウソは無い。 ただし、客室の壁が薄いので、隣室の音がかなり響いてくる。一晩中イビキがうるさくほとんど寝られなかった。 快眠にこだわるなら静粛性にもこだわってほしかった。このため星1つとした。 朝食は美味しい。
