Irton Hall
Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely dinner Sunday evening and decided on roast with perfectly cooked vegetables, melt in the mouth beef and extra helpings of gravy! Great pudding too. Very spacious and peaceful room.

Nice quiet place to say
Nice hotel, large room and clean. Door and windows rattling kept us awake one night until jammed with newspaper.

Not quite as plush as expected. Room on the small side but good bathroom.

Good location for Scafell Pike
Location is good for exploring Scafell Pike and other areas to that side of the Lake District. The staff are friendly and there is a good choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Cleanliness was ok but the trims in the bathroom could do with a refresh. There was coffee and fresh towels in the room but no iron. Ample free parking available. Overall a good standard.

Irton Hall is really amazing
Irton Hall is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a cosy place to stay while exploring Lake District. We stayed at the cottage and it was a wonderful experience. Nearby Irton Hall, be sure to visit Wast Water which is one of the most magical places I have been to.
