Not "Grand" in Grand hotel
The hotel is not bad, but the rooms need renovation. The elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor and you have to walk up to the 4th floor with your luggage. The rooms are clean but they need a total change of everything inside. I wouldn't stay here again if I had another choice. The breakfast is monotonous - the same every day. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful architecture with spacious and airy rooms in a great location. The room was very comfortable. The staff were very warm and welcoming and always helpful, extremely polite and ready to do anything they could to make our stay easy and comfortable. The location is great, and the “idea” of the property (a cool historic building in a cool historic area) is good, but the hotel itself is pretty rundown outside of the main lobby. Real, well placed Mumbai gem
This is an old style hotel in a quiet environment within a walking distance from Gate of India and close to main railway station. Staff very nice and cooperative. Good breakfasts but focused on local people. Do not make use of their offer for airport transfer as it is at least 5 times more expensive than prepaid taxi or Uber.
