Great location. Free breakfast was busy but the meals were the same easy day. Walls are a bit thin. Older temperature controls in rooms. Windows a bit drafty

Wonderful cooked breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff in this budget, well located hotel. Only a block from Paddington station, and also a short walk to Kensington Park. The rooms are small and dated, but still provided all we needed for a comfortable sleep before heading on the Heathrow Express train.

Our stay was wonderful, all the staff were really friendly and very helpful in always. The luggage storage was a winner for us and the closeness to Paddington Station. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

If you like old fashioned English hotels with carpets and a little bit worn out walls and furnitures, then Mitre is for you. It is clean and has a good atmosphere. The breakfast was great and the staff was wonderful and friendly.

this was the second time we have stayed at the hotel. Great location, free parking, spotlessly clean, friendly staff and a cooked breakfast.

A good hotel near Paddington station. Full English breakfast was fine, and the bar was fully stocked. We will go back again when we are in London.

We had a lovely stay - the staff were really friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and the location was perfect.

Quite an ‘old school’ hotel in terms of decor, handing the key at reception before going out and table service in the restaurant (no buffet), but fine for all that. It was clean and quiet and the room had a fan which was useful for a warm night. The great advantage is its proximity to Paddington Station. We would certainly use it again.

Good small hotel. Great location being just around corner from Paddington station. Good as a base for a london visit with added free car parking.

10/10 Exceptional

The room was neat and clean. The cleaning staff were phenomenal. The breakfast was splendid and the waitstaff were attentive and excellent. There was a small fire in the laundry room one evening. The staff took care of the situation immediately. Everyone was evacuated immediately and the firefighters were on hand within 3 minutes. Everyone was returned to their rooms safely with minimal disturbances. The professional treatment by the staff was reassuring and responsible. We would certainly stay here again!

The property was clean, the staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely done. The only drawback was that our room was far too small for 3 people and it was stressful to make due in such crowded quarters. To be fair, we did not complain to the hosts and ask for a change
