Quite an ‘old school’ hotel in terms of decor, handing the key at reception before going out and table service in the restaurant (no buffet), but fine for all that. It was clean and quiet and the room had a fan which was useful for a warm night. The great advantage is its proximity to Paddington Station. We would certainly use it again.

We booked this because of the free parking and that turned out great! The property isn't updated but we only slept there anyway. If youre looking for somewhere really nice this is not a good fit The staff were super nice and helpful. The weird thing was that they have you leave the room key at the front desk when you go out which was not good. On the plus side its right across from Hyde Park and Kensington gardens.

The Mitre House is in a great neighborhood close to Paddington Station and many great restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The family room was good for our family of 4 with 1 shared bathroom. Unfortunately the hotel does not have air conditioning which was difficult for the hot month of August.
