Choose this hotel last minute as our planned hotel was smelly and dirty at check-in. This place was great, nicely lit, clean and spacious lobby. Front desk staff was very professional and nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices.

Motel Not Sympathetic To Our Emergency
We had an emergency and couldn’t get to the motel. The emergency room at the hospital had no cell service so we couldn’t contact the motel. When I called the next day and asked if we could arrive a day late, they told me we didn’t come or call so we lost our money.

Fairfield Inn in Syracuse
Got a late start leaving from Indiana and decided to stop in Syracuse. Had a terrible stay at another hotel in Syracuse last year - really did not want to stop in Syracuse due to this previous disaster. Was drawn to the 9.6 Exceptional rating given on Hotel.com - so we went for it! Disappointed that we made the reservation through Hotel.com because my husband is a Marriott member - but I was looking at ratings. We could not get points, but we had a wonderful stay. Friendly staff, clean and beautiful room and the breakfast was top notch.

This is a nice well located hotel. We had a few "issues" but they were minor and readily solved and not related to the property itself but company policy, the room ac temp bottomed out at 68 but when I asked about that at the front desk they immediately override the system allowing us to lower it to 64. (It was brutally humid this week). Also we needed to ask for the pillows for the sofa bed. They probably don't see much use so it's not surprising they didn't want to take up space with unnecessary items. Overall we liked the place and we will go back.
