First, the address of in the listing is not actually the entrance, which was confusing. The room was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. There were no paper goods other than toilet paper, so we had to buy paper towels and tissue. Also, no washcloth (which seems to be the standard in the UK?) The deposit (hotels.com won’t allow me to say the amount) is excessive, IMO, and atypical.

The two bedroom apartment was plenty large and well appointed for four people and the location was perfect for a quick two night stay! The staff was also very communicative and was flexible with travel interruptions which is super appreciated! We ended up walking to The Royal Oak pub one evening and would highly recommend it as well!

My wife and I spent an excellent three nights at the Marling Apartments. Its location is ideal for Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, and all such things south of the river. Our room was clean, very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The only problem was the sofa-bed which, when used as a sofa must be the most uncomfortable in the UK. Luckily we could use the pouffes instead.
