The two bedroom apartment was plenty large and well appointed for four people and the location was perfect for a quick two night stay! The staff was also very communicative and was flexible with travel interruptions which is super appreciated! We ended up walking to The Royal Oak pub one evening and would highly recommend it as well!

My wife and I spent an excellent three nights at the Marling Apartments. Its location is ideal for Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, and all such things south of the river. Our room was clean, very well equipped and the bed was comfortable.
The only problem was the sofa-bed which, when used as a sofa must be the most uncomfortable in the UK. Luckily we could use the pouffes instead.

They charge extra for cots, high chairs and for checking in 2 hours early. Seems a bit excessive on top of the high charge.

Bed mattress too hard. Living room Sofa uncomfortable. Getting in and out of bath to stand in shower a potential accident waiting to happen. No hand rails to aid getting in and out of bath to stand in shower for over 55s. Potential to slip is overwhelming !

Lovely helpful staff on check-in. Apartment was absolutely huge. Comfortable beds. The only thing I would bring up was the curtains need to be cleaned as there were stains over the ones on the balcony and bedroom. Having plain cream curtains through the apartment is probably not the best idea. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this apart-hotel. The apartment was very spacious, super clean, and nicely decorated. The bedroom was a bit dark (the ceiling light was not enough to illuminate well the whole room), but the mattress and pillows were super comfy. The bathroom also had a lot of space to put toiletries and the tub was amazing.
There were three space heaters (one in the bedroom, one in the living room, and one in the entryway), which was essential to keep the January cold at bay. I didn't hear a peep from other rooms during my stay, only when people opened the doors to their rooms (the doors are very thick and heavy, so it makes sense).
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the location. It is close to two tube lines (3 and 10 minutes away by foot - but the closest one doesn't have escalators and the lift only goes partway) that made getting to the main tourist spots easy (with the help of Citymapper to help navigate the London Underground). There's also a Tesco Express literally next door, making it convenient to grab things to cook at the apartment. The kitchen has all the main appliances and kitchenware you may need to prepare a meal.
To me this was perfect. If you're thinking of staying there, just keep in mind that it is an apart-hotel, so adjust your expectations regarding services provided.
