1950's style Mom and Pop motel. No air conditioning. But clean, quiet, and very affordable. You get what you pay for but this place is fine for a night or two. Hardly breathtaking but perfectly acceptable and priced to fit its market.

Very "country", rustic, takes you back to the seventies. Clean,very basic. A small carpet in front of the tub would have been nice. To have the two sets of towels differently colored would also have been nice to avoid confusions.My main reason for wanting to go back is the swimming in the clear northern lake and the small but lovely private beach.

I would like to say: it is rock-n-roll.....but it actually isn't.
The room is small and poor. The bed slept terrible and the sheets were old. The grey blanket on the bed had a burning-hole in it.
The carpet felt dirty.
The shower was good however and the lake was beautiful.
We paid $129,- incl tax, and this is way overpriced

It's a really nice and cheap place to stay at St-Donat. I recommend. They have a huge terrain and the lake view is beautiful. I'll come back soon. Forget the bad feedback, I hesitate when I saw the feedback, but you have to come to understand the people that leave bad review on this motel, they were trouble maker. At the price that cost, they have access to the lake, it's really cheap for a motel at this location. I suggest to book the suite, they have all appliance need for living there. I was 20 min early for a 3 o clock check in and told to come back at 3. There was no reason for this- the place was mostly vacant and the room was surly ready.

Le terrain est beau, sur un beau lac, mais la chambre est ridicule. En plus, trop de restrictions. Exemple tchek out à 10h, tu dois non seulement partir de la chambre mais du terrain et du parking !
On avait une seule serviette, à notre demande on nous a donné une 2e . Donc chacun a une serviette pour tous ses besoins des 24h: douche, lavage des mains, lavage du visage le lendemain.. On a pensé amener nos oreillers, il a fallu qu’on amène nos serviettes aussi. Bref, on y retournera plus jamais.
