Our first room had a pretty bad smell that affected my asthma. I took the situation to customer service and they relocated us into a very nice clean room. The bed was a little firm for my liking but still slept okay . The breakfast buffet was great!The front desk customer service was excellent.

Comfortable rooms with amenities such as separate coffee maker and tea kettle, which I appreciate as a tea drinker. For people who like mainstream hotels, this place is delightfully quirky - looks like an old English manor, and feels a bit more like a guest house than an anonymous hotel. I enjoyed the ambience, but it isn't for everyone.
