The bar and restaurant spaces were booked for private events both evenings of our stay and were a bit noisy but we were warned at check in and the hotel have made attempts to install sound proofing for the rooms. The mandrake is an exceptional hotel, the interior decor is innovative and inspiring for creatives, with beautiful contemporary artwork, and installations, every floor is decadent glamour, there are quiet areas also and you feel like you are not in the centre of London but in a lush tropical location. The food is tasty, as well as the bar area with iconic cocktails. The staff are very friendly and hospitable, we loved our stay there and will return soon
