For the location and price, this hotel can't be beat! Literally in the city center and steps away from the wharf and old town. Breakfast was great with many options. Great location, close to the main harbour, fish market & attractions. Easily walkable to most parts of the central city, but also on bus routes. The room was comfy, but lacked hooks, shelves, storage. So if you are staying for a few nights you are living out of your suitcase.

The Magic Hotel in Bergen was a 10 minute walk from the train station, as well as 10 minute walk to the light rail to get to the airport. It was very close to the harbour area of Bergen, and to the downtown/city center areas. The included breakfast was very good!

The breakfast spread was fantastic. There were so many unique options that made it stand out from other hotels. We also loved that they had individual body wash, shampoo, and lotion available. Sometimes I'm hesitant to use the big bottles that are used guest after guest at many hotels nowadays, but didn't have to deal with that worry here. The hotel is easy walking distance to the funicular. It's also walkable to the train station, though a bit longer of a walk.

Don't spend extra on bigger room or city view
I ordered a city view 20 sqm room. The room was long and narrow with a passage way from the door to the bed space with the bathroom on the side so the extra space i wanted was not in form of spare around the bed. The city view was not as the picture, it was a single window on the 2. floor looking at the adjacent building wall.
