Our stay at the Hurdwick was ideal for location. A short walk to Camden Market and perfect if attending the KOKO, like we did. Check in was a message the day before with clear instructions of how to enter the property. We didn't see any staff during our stay but that was okbas we had everything we needed. The property was clean and our room was spotless. The hotel is right next door to an underground station, so you can hear the trains running beneath the hotel. For a short night stay The Hurdwick is perfect.

We were on the 3rd floor, make sure you can climb stairs without any issues. Very kind man (on intercom) offered to try to move us, unfortunately not able to. Bed great, only had 3 pillows (4 required for 2 people), just couldn't go down stairs again! Bathroom clean but couldn't move shower head, but no big deal. Air conditioning was great, would have been stuffy without it. Only issue the batteries in the tv remote needed replacing, couldn't use them at all. Location was very convenient, four houses away from the tube station. Don't think we would like being in the basement, sounds of the trains. But floor 1 or 2 would be ok.

The hotel is clean and 20 minutes walk from St Pancras however, there are 3 floors, no lift and a narrow staircase, it was noisy ( I know it was central London) but if you want to sleep you can,but not til after 03.00 Small shower with low pressure and vanity sink. Stayed two nights and the hotel served us really well. Self Check in details were provided a couple of days before our stay. The room was clean and plenty of space for a 3 night stay. The location is excellent, really close to tube station and only 3 stops from Leicester Square. Nice bar across the road, and a lovely new cafe nearby.

Overall this was a pleasant stay and I’d stay again I was really impressed that they phoned a few days before to assess your plans and try and give you a room that suited your needs - making sure those who partied all night at Koko weren’t going to disturb you Check in was easy and instructions were clear Our room faced the road and it was loud from traffic and people coming past, but not unbearable. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. But given the price and location I thought it would be worse than it was - was impressed! The AC worked thank goodness, a very hot day in London but the room was pleasant The TV didn’t work well, remote didn’t work and the signal for itv was terrible - just be aware if you’re trying to watch the World Cup!

Would highly recommend, had such a lovely stay and super convenient to transport/supermarket and a lot to do within walking distance. Was a nice and clean hotel and our room was cleaned with fresh towels frequently. Also was amazing we could leave our bags there after checkout before our late flight so we didn’t have to cart them around all day. Definitely will stay again :)
