My first room had mould in the bathroom, and the mould smell had permeated into every surface which I noticed as soon as I walked in. I promptly asked to change my room, which the staff were very polite and accommodating about, though they didn't seem surprised.
My second room, 223, was better on initial review, but when I returned later that night after briefly dropping my bags off earlier, I had the same mould smell. The easyHotel rooms are not designed for air flow and ventilation, so they are effectively a humidity trap for mould.
I was supposed to stay for 3 nights, after the 2nd night of poor sleep and coughing due to the air quality I checked out early and moved to a nearby Travelodge. Don't bother getting a cheaper hotel like easyHotel, spend the extra bit and go to a premier Inn or Travelodge.
