The room itself was fine for a budget hotel and the location was convenient. However, my stay was let down by repeated disturbances on the morning of check-out. There was drilling taking place in the hallway before 7:30am, followed by a member of staff entering my room while I was asleep. After discovering the room was occupied, I would have expected this information to be passed on, but around 45 minutes later another member of staff attempted to enter the room again. I had also locked the door after the first incident, yet access was still gained. When I raised this at reception, I was told staff had assumed the room was vacant because one guest had returned their key. As the booking was for two guests, I do not feel this was an acceptable assumption to make. The room was adequate, but having staff attempt to enter an occupied room twice before check-out left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with the overall experience.

Tip staff. Superb location. Overall a much better stay than the brand affiliation indicates. However completely impossible to get a receipt for the payment. No one answers the phone for the whole evening. And later hotel referred to booking site and booking site to the hotel. Payment was taken by the hotel directly. Post-stay service thus very poor and arrogant.
