Simon and crew were the best. Top-notch, warm welcome, accommodations (FYI: one flight of steep stairs if you’re “knee conscious”) and Scott’s meals were divine. As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely comfortable staying here. Moreton is a great staging area for your trip to the Cotswolds - easy train connections and hourly bus availability to local towns, plus all the walking trail opportunities you need. Great breakfast options too. If you book at the Swan, you’re assured a lovely stay.

We book this stay last minute as was let down with a rental property in the area. The town is located well for sightseeing around the beautiful Cotswolds, everything we wanted to see easily accessible. The landlord was so friendly and helpful. He advised us of little hidden gems to see. We ate dinner at the pub on one of the evenings, and the food was delicious. Pub has a great atmosphere, seems to be very popular locally. Car park at back super convenient, and lots of free parking nearby anyway. Always greeted by a smile from owner of staff, everyone so attentive. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My review of The Swann Inn 1) A very dirty and smelly premises with grime everywhere, needs aired 2) General decoration a total mess, they have painted over thick grime 3) Grime and dirt on the bathroom floor and shower cubicle, completely unacceptable and unhealthy 4) Bedlinen, old and disheveled, duvet looked like a matress topper. Never seen a bed made like this before....Not acceptable 5) No provision for breakfast 6) A well below substandard grubby premises 7) I had booked two nights, we promptly left on the morning of our second day Moreton in Marsh is a beautiful little town in the Cotswolds.. One of the most desireable places to visit in the world, yet you have this dreadful premises !!! What a shame

The location in Morton-in-marsh was excellent. Our room was small but adequate for 2 nights. We ate in the pub and the food was good, although it's a shame they don't provide breakfast. The pub was very quiet and closed at 9.30pm so there was a lack of atmosphere. But it was fine as a base for a couple of days.
