The location is quiet, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The pool was dirty, the toilet was moldy, there were stains on the bed sheets.

I booked this place for two nights but left after a night’s stay because of blaring music till 2 AM from a bar next door. The bathroom is awful. The room had NO window.

My stay at Bajo Sunset was adequate, since it was very busy and difficult to find anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and breakfast included was appreciated. The room was very basic, at the very back of the hotel. The walls are very thin so it was noisy from the neighbours and bar down the road. No hot water, and bathroom could be improved.

Below the expectations.
Good breakfast and location. Friendly staff. The room was dirty though. And its door was broken. No privacy. I booked a private room but, even though, I could hear all my neighbors sounds and vice versa.

Bajo sunset!
Amazing staff, really helpfull and friendly. Offered to share their evening meal with me 1 night when I was sat alone. The bed was sooo comfy, amazing smelling sheets and towels. Bathroom a strange set up. It's in the room but separated by a door. However the roof is just a tin roof cover over the sink and toilet. So many mosquitos. A good quality mosquito net over the bed, and cold ac. Location pretty good, 10mins walk from main street. 2 mins from Market where you can get great, cheap local cooked food. Because of its proximity to the harbour and fish market it can smell a bit at times, I was fine with this. Also some flies in the main lobby because of this. Very good WiFi.

Comfortable little place
This hostel is exactly like what I read in reviews. Clean, ten minutes walk from the center of town, fabulous sunset view! The rooms are very basic, rustic, as disclosed no hot water, bed very comfortable. I can not comment on the pool as I did not use it, it looked green but I think that it was due to the bottom being that color and nothing to do with the water...
The staff, especially Saad was awesome, I felt like home. I would stay here again for sure.

Good stay
Labuan Bajo is a launch pad for the Komodo island trips, in LB itself there’s nothing to do and it’s not a very nice place, flies everywhere and people put their rubbish out all over the streets. The hostel was good, unfortunately we had to walk through another dorm to get to ours, but not all of the dorms are like that. The air con worked really well and the staff were so kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant is amazing and breakfast is good.

Home away from home
t was a small hostel around 1km away from the town center. It's near the night market and soon to be very near a public market after it gets constructed. They have punctual airport shuttle services. Their in-house staff, Saad was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and its being cleaned every day.
After knowing that it was my birthday during my stay with them, the management decided to celebrate it with me by buying a cake for me. So, you have an idea of how friendly the environment is. I was touched because it felt like home.
Fresh water is scarce and expensive in the area so just help conserve it. Internet in room 6 is a bit slow and during my stay, it was noisy because of all the constructions around. But there were constructions everywhere hence, I assume almost all the hotels and hostels were equally noisy.
