Exceptional 10.0
Compact and bijoux
A compact little boutique hotel in the heart of the east end. Set in a renovated Chapel, there's lots to like about the place. Exceptionally friendly staff and whilst my room was small, it was clean and comfortable and had everything I could possibly need.

Very good 8.0
Please check bulbs etc more regularly
I've now stayed in 4 different rooms and each one has either not got working bedside lights, or not working clock, or both. Please fix!

Good 6.0
OK
The room was very clean and on the face of it well furnished - however, neither of the bedside lamp's worked and there was no plug socket near the desk (and they were aware of this as I highlighted these), so I couldn't use my laptop on the desk which had ran out of charge. If you wanted to use the hair dryer, there was no socket near a mirror either. Overall an average experience where attention to detail was missing.

Handy location for getting around
Really good location, just a couple of minutes walk from Whitechapel Tube Station. Some good local history and plenty of shops, a choice of food available locally. good transport links. Room costs were much more reasonable than other options. Great to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Plenty of towels, nice comfy bed. All in all a good place to stay for sensible money. Would definitely use again.

Poor 2.0
Terrible. First checked in advance could i leave bags. Very unfriendly welcome at the door. " no check in until 14:00" I told the manager I had checked and just wanted to leave my bags . He just left the bags left in corridor not locked away. I asked him if they could be locked away he said no. I took my laptop and other valuables with me. I was put in a 4th Floor room no lift, no offer to help with the luggage. The room had no curtains so i would have been wakened by daybreak . I spoke to the manager who said the curtains were being cleaned . Nonsense , there was no curtain rail or anywhere to put curtains up. He said he could not move me as he was fully booked but eventually agreed to let me sleep in another room for my first night. They later said there was a cancellation and I could move to another room. Other issues 1. WIFI is non existent 2. Plug sockets not near the desk where you need to work. When I returned for day 2 my room had not been cleaned. I spoke to the manager who said that the rooms only get cleaned every 2 days. I did not see anything on their web site that stated that. I will not be returning again , suggest you avoid also !!!!!
