We stayed for one night whilst attending an awards ceremony at the venue.
The staff were very pleasant particularly reception during check in (Megan I think?).

Spa great. Swimming lanes in the pool were useful as there a few children playing with a ball in the pool too.
Restaurant had a few GF options and staff seemed knowledgable. Food was of good quality. (Gf burger and chips and steak with chips and mushroom)
Room spotless although the shower (over a bath) leaked all over the floor!! Bed allowed a good nights sleep.

The rooms were ok, the carpets were hideous, dust at the bottom of the window frame, the sealant was starting to break up around the bathtub and the mirrors demister was loose.
The alcohol was so expensive, the food was also expensive but special.

The room we stayed in wasn’t as clean as we would have liked it to be. Sticky marks on tables, bedside tables, yellow stains around sink/bath taps, the chairs, carpets in room were in need of replacement, carpets and wall paper in ground corridors need to be updated too.
The reception, restaurant and surrounding areas were lovely, clean and modern.
