Great place to stay near Diamond Head!
Everything was good. We were in the Park View wing and had a great view of palm trees waving in the breeze. Doves visited us on the balcony. The food in the bar was very good. What a great place to stay near Diamond Head!

Great option in Waikiki
What a gem! First time staying at the Kaimana- and it will be something we return to! We were worried it was too far from Waikiki to enjoy. Nope- a 15 minute walk - and you are at the start of Waikiki.
Peaceful and out of the crazy downtown without being isolated. Gorgeous beach right in front of the hotel- with sand that allows you to go in the water without feed walkers. Plenty of reefs just offshore for fish watching.
Service was excellent! Super friendly and helpful staff.
We only ate in the restaurant once (it was limited hours) it was difficult for me to find something to eat as I have an onion and garlic allergy. Ended up with eggs bene- but those arrived with chives in top- so kind of a miss for me.
We would stay here again and totally would upgrade to an ocean facing king bed room- wow!!

Ok place to stay but ….
The property is nice but slightly dated. Its location is in a “food desert” as there were few alternatives to dining within 1/2 mile. The restaurant options were limited as well. They were unable to provide me a lunch item for dinner. Not sure I would recommend.

Best hotel in Waikiki
This was a fantastic hotel. We were treated royally. They let us into our room early, provided great service, and gave us a complimentary extended hour checkout. The view was incredible. The room had a great layout. Resort fee was well worth it for the amenities. Will definitely come back and stay longer. It felt like a private beach.

We came to the Kaimana Beach Hotel for our honeymoon and were greeted with amazing hospitality and a complimentary bottle of champagne with a kind note. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and helpful throughout the stay. We can’t say enough great things about this place. We will definitely be back in the future!

Room was only fair, dirty balcony with pigeon droppings, hallways were dingy & tired - looking, kitchen was only open for lunch & dinner, no breakfast options except for tiny coffee shop. Restaurant menu very limited, but fish sandwich was surprisingly quite good, as was service there and at front desk.

I liked that it was away from but close enough to Waikiiki to enjoy the amenities but not noisy or busy. The hotel itself was very nice and staff accommodating in all facets.

Staff very helpful. Everything worked. Beach is right out the door, so don’t have to cross the street. Out of the crowded area at Waikiki, but easily walkable to Waikiki restaurants,,etc. Beach is in shade in the morning, if you don’t want to over do the sun.

Our room is on the third floor and you could only get there by going upstairs. It’s a very old hotel. There is no ice or coffee. I asked for a coffee maker because it’s unheard of to not be able to have coffee in your room, but they had no other machines available so they gave us a couple of coupons to the coffee shop, I prefer to make my coffee in my room early in the morning and not have to go out for it, but the staff did the best they could with what they had to work with. They tried hard but the facility needs upgrades and better services.
