The hotel is lovely and staff are helpful. The food was not so great at all. I ordered a chicken curry and it was 100% out a jar and the garlic bread was cooked from frozen and very hard. I did not have breakfast but it would be nice of the hotel had some home cooked food. The drinks were extremely over priced! The rooms were lovely and clean and parking was great too - the views were great!

Room was very dated, carpet needs to be replaced. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. However, staff was very friendly and breakfast was excellent.

Very basic. Overdue renovation. Looks a bit like a bail hostel on the outside. 2nd floor rooms have threadbare carpet, no hot water. Overall, facilities fine - breakfast not great, but cheap. Believe there’s renovations to the 2nd floor next month, but think the whole place needs some work. Probably a 2 star with 3 star facilities - ie a bar, a restaurant of sorts, a lift.

Staff were pleasant but dining and bar areas were horribly understaffed, especially in view of presence of a large tour coach group and a small coach group. Odd policy that drinks and meals had to be paid separately so credit card had to be processed multiple times for one meal.

Great staff. Property is a bit older so don’t expect all the updated amenities. Clean for the age of hotel. Perfect for an overnight or a short trip. Beautiful location and super friendly staff. Will stay again.

Tried changing us £20 for dog when site states £10, NO HOT WATER IN ROOM FOR A SHOWER
