Staff was friendly and the restaurant downstairs was convenient, however the cieling in the bathroom gave a sense of uncleanliness.

Stop over after doing the NC500

Had to go to the restaurant/bar to get someone to check us in. James was efficient and friendly and made us feel welcome and let us know we had the room with a king sized bed. Unfortunately the size of the bed was to big for that room and made it difficult to navigate around but was comfortable. Met up with friends there for a meal and drinks on the night too and everything was very good. When getting ready to leave in the morning we met the cleaners Claire and Michelle, who again were very friendly and professional. The only downside was the bath being chipped and having a rusty plughole.

Excellent

I can't be leave how many people moan about the reception not being manned 24hrs even thought it states it's not open 24hrs before you get there. Anyway me and 2 work mate stayed here for the week while working in Glasgow. Good points. Nice and clean. Good free WiFi. Rooms cleaned daily. Fresh towels. Good restaurant downstairs and cheap. Plenty of parking. Price. Bad points. Feather pillow. (Own taste) Would stay here again. A+

Good hotel in Glasgow

Very clean room and nice bathroom. Window has a nice view. Plenty parking space. Easy to access central city. Staffs are also very nice. It has a great restaurant attached.

Family visit

The hotel itself is somewhat dated and in need of redecoration. Shower small. However...what the hotel rooms may lack the fantastic staff make up for. Both room cleaners Marion and Claire couldn't do enough for us. The staff in the restaurant bar equally friendly and helpful. We would go back and stay when we are next in Glasgow just to see them!

Great people, terrible room

Lovely personnel and the restaurant is great. I suppose you get what you pay for but there are two issues, one which is unsafe: 1. There is mold growing on the walls in the bathroom, I am not sure it should even be allowed to be rented out. Dirty large stains and holes in wall as well as worn out floors, door handles etc are the case too however they are minor issues compared to the mold. 2. If no one is in the reception you need to call and a robot -Charlie- will answer. This robot does not understand ”check in”, as someone wrote earlier you need to mention ”manager” and you will be sent through.

If you arrive at the hotel and no one is on reception there is a telephone to announce your arrival asking what you want. It is voice activated and does not recognise the term “check in.” Apparently you need to include the word “manager” to get a response. It’s easier just to ask at the bar. We arrived shortly after 8pm in time to order a meal before the kitchen closed at 9pm as published. After buying a drink we were told the kitchen had already closed at 8pm and wouldn’t be open for breakfast either. We were not notified of this in advance. We went out locally to find a meal. We stayed in room 14. There is only 150mm clearance between the foot of the bed and the wall which is the route to the bathroom. There was mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling. The bath was rusty around the plug hole. In general the maintenance of the building looked tired. Not a great experience but the bed was comfortable.

Short overnight stay. Room ok, clean. Lift was not working so had to carry our luggage up 1 flight of stairs but a lad from reception did carry the heaviest one up. Has a bar / restaurant but it only opens at 10am so it’s not possible to get breakfast early.

Nicely located with ample parking. The only issue was the free WiFi requiring you to enter your personal information like name and date of birth.
Qaiser, 1-night trip

Relaxed

The room was small and the bed was big so it felt a bit cramped the bathroom was a bit dated and needed a bit of tlc but overall it was a cheap room that suits the purpose

This hotel was not good. The walls were dirty and had gouges out of them. The lamp shade next to the bed was split at the seam and the ceiling light had no cover. The toilet seat was worn through. The smell of food from the restaurant filled the room also, there was someone smoking weed, don't know if it was next door or outside but it was stinking. I left my Apple Watch charger in the room and they refused to return it to me even though I offered to pay for the postage! This hotel is horrible. I know you get what you pay for but a lick of paint costs nothing - it was horrible.
Diana, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Had a convenient attached restaurant. The room was outdated and the whole hotel needed renovation. The price was what it should be for an older hotel.
