Location, Location

This is a very clean hotel. The staff try very hard to keep it that way. The location was great for us. Right across the road was Chinatown with a plethora of restaurants and take out food shops. Ten minutes walk took us to the harbour with gardens and sites. There is a tour bus stop right in front of the hotel. Also a airport bus stop. Our only complaint was the beds were too firm and the pillows too soft.

The hotel is at a very convenience location, with short walking distance to a beautiful park and ocean breeze. It is near by bus stops and MTR. But the decor is a little old and outdated. The staff is helpful.

The Rose hotel is very good value for money and is in central Chinatown if that’s your thing. Unlimited (Chinese) food options and close up the station to explore the rest of Yokohama and greater Tokyo. The hotel is slightly aged but still has its charm with friendly and helpful staff.

The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful very tasty food and choices. This hotel was a wonderful experience.

It was a stop on the bus route from Haneda Airport. There were many dining options and a convenience store nearby. I was particularly impressed with the great service and personal attention of the staff at the reception counter and that of the bell captains. Personally, I would like to thank Junko ( the gal with the “Kiwi” accent) for her concern and exceptional service.

The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We found out you have to pay to use it. This was not disclosed anywhere when we booked. If we we knew, we would had gone to a different hotel. We paid around $90 for one day, as my kids were looking forward for the pool.

Funkade men inte fantastiskt.

Rummet var rymligt, men att fem personer delar på tre sängar och tre täcken är inte rimligt. Extra handduk kostade 500yen per dag, vi fick tre handdukar för fem personer. Att bada var krångligt och dyrt. Vattnet var kallt och reglerna många, hoppa inte, skvätt inte, använd inte flytleksak i bubbelpoolen, ät och drick inte vid poolområdet (fast det finns bord och stolar). Men rummen är rena, välstädade och det finns gott om uttag och förvaring. Vänlig personal. Okej frukost. Nära tunnelbana och buss från flyget stannar precis utanför, mycket smidigt.
