OK so pros and cons
CONS
1. To get airport shuttle / bus information I called hotel at approx 7pm local time, waited on the line 15 min. And no answer. I called 4 more times and no answer. My flight was delayed and I was to arrive at 2 AM and needed to know if that would cause any issues. I had to pay for a taxi to get to the hotel, overcharged , whatever that’s on me I don’t take Ubers. Anyway… that’s 1
2. The room was SO HUMID!!! I’ve lived in Florida for years, and I never had a room that humid , even when power went out during hurricanes ! Lights were on, kind of strange , idk what happened … did someone take a really long hot shower (btw there is no fan) and have the windows closed and no air on since it’s winter now and the room WAS cool ….? Idk I’m not a detective , but that was uncomfortable , manageable but uncomfortable.
3. The low price range attracts some clientele who I would call, idk a diplomatic term so use your imagination. Just be a little on your guard. That said, I did come in at 2 am (I’m a dude)…if my gf came here at that same time, well she probably wouldn’t .
PROS
1. Front desk staff was pleasant and courteous. And professional.
2. Grounds were well kept, no trash or rats or anything horrific, mostly…this is a mid century modern architectural building so it is “older”, but mostly well maintained. Which u appreciated.
3. Room was OK. Personally , not a fan of carpet but whatever . Not horrible like some other pics I saw online
