Lovely overnight stay with my daughter and grandaughter. We enjoyed the pool and relaxing in the comfort of our room. As we had already arrangements for food elsewhere we didnt eat at the hotel, but have on previous occasions, when it

Poor 2.0
Unhelpful staff, cramped conditions, fastidious adherence to nonsensical rules and a genuine unwillingness to be helpful. Wouldn't use Village Blackpool again based on my experience and will probably not use Village as a group of hotels either.

Fair 4.0
Unfortunately, our sleep was broken because of a group of drunk individuals fighting in the corridor at 3 am.

Disgusting room, evidence of bodily fluids on carpet and bedding. Poor electrics can be lethal, girlfriend got shock of loose bathroom socket. Totally dated room obviously not been touched since thing was built bathroom mould everywhere

They now charge for parking :-(
It's so disappointing that all the Village Hotels now charge for parking. In future, I will pick an alternative Hotel that doesn't charge for this unless I have no other option..

Happy overall
It's a nice hotel very clean and modern. Shame the double was two twin beds pushed together wrapped by a double mattress, they were different heights though. Comfy enough and very warm quilt on beds. The pool is nice and the changing rooms are well equipped. Bar was very noisy but but that was due to football being on I guess, not great selection of food but nice food when it arrives.

Disappointing We only went there one night due to being near to the Victoria Hospital. The hotel needed some TLC and there was no information about time of breakfast or any literature at all in the room. There was one small chair in the room so we sat up on the bed to watch the TV. At 10pm the top right hand corner leg of one of the twin beds collapsed and I had to walk all the way back up to see reception. She was very nice and apologetic, gave us another room opposite and came down to carry our belongings over. When I went into the bathroom, there were no towels so had to walk all the way back to reception to inform the receptionist who said she would arrange for towels to be brought down. This was done forthwith. At breakfast, the only egg on offer was scrambled. We were also very surprised that we had to pay £5.00 to park the car! This was not mentioned on the website. We would not stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel many times, although not stayed for quite a while. The rooms are looking tired cleanliness was good but the rooms need sprucing up. We ate in the restaurant, the food was lovely but the service was terrible that was for both our evening meal and breakfast.

Great location
the hotel was great but they had a auto checkin with one person as a receptionist to help with the auto checkin. so had to wait a long time. they came to clean my room and i was in the shower and told them to come in half hour and they never cleaned the room on that day. did not realise that you had to pay for the gym separately. Generally a very good hotel
