I enjoyed staying there and the Thai Restaurant sharing the ground floor was excellent also. Alas, on Expedia, breakfast was an option, which I wanted: however breakfast is definitely not available...

We were going to a nearby wedding at the Glebe farm barn and chose this as a local place to stay. The lady on the phone was lovely, very helpful and accommodating. The room was great, just what we needed with a nice warm shower. We were certainly grateful for the added touches (bottle of water each for example), would definitely stay again!

We arrived early and the host was really lovely allowing us to check in and bringing us fresh milk. The room was a little tired and shower was very slow The noise from the street at pub closing time was annoying

Room 12 was compact but bright and very comfortable! No breakfast option though despite what Expedia stated.
Soonil, 1-night trip

The hotel receptionist was lovely and extremely helpful. There was a separate bedroom to the seating area and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is old but clean. It is an unusual hotel to say the least, we thought we were walking into a restaurant, which it does appear you are. Do not be put off by this, the hotel was a lovely place to stay and we will stay again if we are ever in the area.

Lovely venue
Very comfortable bed, beautiful decor, lovely and quiet. I’ll visit again.
2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room itself was clean, however the cups were dirty as were the spoons. We were given a pint of milk (no fridge) as there were no small UHT milks available. The curtains were not lined and as our room was overlooking the main street, there was a flashing neon sign (Specsavers) on all night, sleeping was disturbed. The main problem in the morning was that the shower water was less than tepid and did not heat up even when left on for some time. All in all, a disappointing stay. Would not recommend.

10/10 Exceptional

I checked-in very late - one of the staff (possibly the owner?) called me en-route to confirm my visit. She was very helpful and polite. I was directed to private parking which was a relief. The room was pleasant with a wardrobe, TV, kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, bottled water and even shower gel. The bed was _very_ comfortable and the bathroom functioned nicely. The floorboards were very creaky and if I had to complain, I could only say the place could do with a refresh but apart from that, it was very reasonable.
