The hotel is close to the station, but there is a nightclub next door which meant my room was literally vibrating with the noise until gone 2am on Friday and Saturday nights, which was less than ideal! The rooms have seen better days and are very basic. A good range of choices for breakfast though.

Myself and my colleague stayed over for a training event we had in birmingham, this was a fab hotel rooms basic but clean which is all you need, fabulous places for transport links and shops (which we were able to go have a wee look at), breakfast was beautiful with plenty opitions and the reception/bar area was lovely and welcoming.

There was loud music from a nearby bar that was thumping late into the night. The room was ok but I would have to ask the front desk for a bath mat as one wasn’t in the room. I had to ask that a lightbulb in the toilet be changed as it was flickering on and off and the sink was very slow in draining. The bulb and sink were attended to for our second night.

The room was basic but spacious. Bed and mattresses looked a bit tired. Windows open. On site parking is small but convenient. Location is great. HOWEVER, THE NOISE! There is a night club right downstairs that BLASTS dancing music and bass. You will have to close windows (no air) and wear ear plugs and even then you will feel room shaking. We barely slept. This is why it’s so cheap.

Smooth check in ... once I found the hotel (had a nice tour of the Bullring first, my error!!). Room was compact but did the job. Could open the windows which was nice. TV worked. Would have been better to have nicer coffee than Nescafe. It looked like you could help yourself to the coffee machines downstairs when they were open, (although I never read anything to say that).
