3 Jun 2026Love the building structure and how they keep it to its original old school feel. I was surprised but not having A/C in the rooms but the brick SF air kept the room cool while we had the window propped up. The restaurant was delicious and great service.

The restaurant, FINO was outstanding. The service was attentive and knowledgeable.
The wine list was excellent. The food, especially the veal, was as good as Florence.

6 Sept 2026The hotel itself is decent, but very old with a need for a makeover. It was the cheapest stay around the area and I only stayed one night.
The bed was comfortable, and the room is clean. However, it smells antique and I’m glad I only stayed one night as it wasn’t appealing. You know, it is like when something tastes ok but doesn’t look good, this is what that was like.
In addition, the area was sketchy with lots of homeless, but that is like for every hotel around the area if you are looking for convenient by being in the heart of the city. Thus, this is not preventable and I didn’t include that into my rating.
However, when I checked in and checked out, the staff was never around and I would needed to wait awhile, since it is only one person working. When I am tired from my travels, I would like to be checked in right away and if I am looking to catch a flight, I would like to check out right away as well.
